UT Foundation Day-2023: Information and PR Department Bandipora holds Art & Photo Exhibition

Bandipora : In commemoration of the UT Foundation Day, the Information and Public Relations (PR) Department Bandipora Tuesday organized an Art and Photo Exhibition within the premises of Mini Secretariat Bandipora.The event was graced by the presence of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad.Artists and photographers from across the district took part in the exhibition.
The DC expressed his admiration for the dedication of art and creativity among the participants/youth of district Bandipora. He emphasized the significance of the arts in preserving and promoting the unique culture and traditions of the region.Dr Owais said that the artistic expressions on display today, organised by the Information and PR department Bandipora, vividly reflect our culture, history, and the essence of our Union Territory.
District Information Officer Bandipora, Bilal Ahmad Mir said that the event was organised to promote local artists, photographers, and their contributions to the rich cultural heritage of UT J&K.The exhibition featured a splendid array of paintings, sculptures, and photographs that portrayed the mesmerizing landscapes and cultural diversity of Jammu and Kashmir.
Visitors were enthralled by the range of artistic styles and the vibrant storytelling through each piece.Later, during the felicitation ceremony, the DC Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, presented mementoes and tokens of appreciation to the participating artists and photographers. This recognition was aimed to encourage and support their contribution to the arts.
