Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha Commends Outstanding Para Archers’ Performance

Jammu : Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha hosted an interactive session today at Raj Bhawan with the Para Archers, Ms. Sheetal Devi and Sh. Rakesh Kumar. During the event, he also bestowed the Para Archers and Coach, Ms. Abhilasha Choudhary, with Certificates of Excellence. Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the Lt. Governor, and Sh. Anshul Garg, CEO of SMVDSB, were also in attendance.
Expressing his admiration for the remarkable Para Archers, the Lt. Governor commended their exceptional performance at the 4th Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, China. He emphasized that their accomplishments serve as an inspiration to the youth, and the entire Union Territory takes pride in their achievements, which have brought honor to the nation.
The Lt. Governor believes that the strong competitive spirit demonstrated by Sheetal and Rakesh will play a significant role in fostering a robust sports culture in Jammu and Kashmir. He also lauded the dedication of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, coaches, and the support staff of the Academy for their substantial contributions to the promotion of sports in the Union Territory.
