First Time Boxing Championship Organised in Pulwama

Pulwama (Mudasir Maqbool) : In a First Boxing Championship 2021 -22 was Organised by J&K Amateur Boxing Association Under the Aegis of Boxing Federation of India, JK Sports Council,J&K Olympic Association South Kashmir at Pulwama district on Tuesday. The Championship was held at District Sports Stadium Pulwama where large no of boxer players included male and female participated. The Chief Guest On the Occasion was DDC Member Javid Rahim Bhat who Interacted with these players and distribute Medals among Winners. Javid Rahim Bhat while speaking to media said, Pulwama is a land of sports where youth are achieved feats in different games at national level.

He added, the youth of Pulwama has tremendous spirit, craze and passion towards Sports, and it is proud moment that girls are also shinning in sports activities. He said, in our District the administration and sports department include sports association have good coordination that is why these type of events were organized in Pulwama. Javid told, our priority is to do International level facilities, Infrastructure and coaching among these sportspersons so that they can compete not only in National bit International level.The whole Event was Organised and Managed in Pulwama by Shariya Manzoor the First South Kashmir Boxer.
