DDC Shopian takes review of ICDS Schemes

Shopian : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, SB Suse today took review of various schemes implemented by ICDS Department including Aadhar Seeding of students, scholarship schemes for minority, MMVY, Poshan Abhiyan, BBBP, SAG, Poshan Mah, Mohila Shakti Kendra etc.While reviewing all the schemes being implemented in ICDS Sector,DDC directed Deputy Director ICDS to ensure regular visits to ICDS centers for effective implementation of ICDS Schemes so that no beneficiary is left out from taking the benefit of these Schemes.He also directed her to prepare an Action Plan for Poshan Abhiyan for the Year, 2021-2022 and also asked her to generate awareness about the beneficiary oriented schemes so that no eligible person is left out.The DDC called for cent percent Aadhar seeding and weeding out of undeserving persons to ensure benefit to the eligible beneficiaries.He also stressed the Supervisors to strictly follow the social distancing and use hygienic practices to avoid spread of Covid-19 while distribution of nutrition items and related activities.Earlier, Deputy Director briefed the Chair about the various initiatives and issues taken up for early settlement of Centrally Sponsored Schemes.The meeting was attended by Deputy Director ICDS, Bilqees Jan, Chief Planning Officer, AD Planning and CDPO Shopian and Keller besides the Supervisors of the entire district.
