DDC Doda reviews physical, financial progress under District, UT Capex plans, other schemes

Doda : District Development Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today reviewed the physical and financial progress of the works approved under District and UT Capex plan, besides the works approved under other different schemes here at a meeting of key officials of different Line Departments held here in the conference hall of DC office.During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held with regard to the status of tendering of works under PRI grants, district capex, physical progress of the allotted works, expenditure incurred, besides the works of UT Capex plan with specially focus on education sector.With regard to the tendering process of works approved under PRI grants by RDD, the DDC directed the concerned authorities to expedite the tendering to complete the works as the set timeline. He asked them to submit the report to the DC office with exact figures which shall include number of works tendered, number of works allotted, works ready for allotment, being tendered, re-tendered after no response and expenditure incurred against the executed works.

Further the DDC asked the ACD, REW and other line departments to collectively resolve the deadlock of those works which are not yet tendered so that they shall be pooled in the process, besides asked them to solve the issue of not feasible works shown by the respective departments in coordination with the JE, BDO and secretary panchayat concerned and try to settle them into their present nomenclature so that they shall be settled down here otherwise they are to be sent to the higher authorities for approval.In addition to this the DDC directed all the departments to ensure that all the works allotted are executed and completed in time bound manner. He further asked them to submit the additional plan against the savings of the tendered works for further submission to concerned authorities for approval and optimal use of the allotted funds.While reviewing the progress of works of school education under District and UT Capex plan, the DDC directed the department and executing agencies to expedite the tendering for it being the focus area. He asked the education department to submit the details of the progress achieved under SAMAGRA.The R&B and health departments were asked to pursue the iconic projects sent to the higher authorities for approval so that these are completed before the set timeline. The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, CPO Doda, SE PWD, CMO Doda, ACD Doda, ACP Doda, DIO Doda, DSWO Doda, besides other officers of various line departments.
