Kishtwar : The implementation of various scholarship schemes for ST, OBC, physically Handicap and Economically Backward Classes was today reviewed by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma here at a meeting.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishori Lal Sharma; District Social Welfare Officer Tariq Parveaz Qazi; Principals of GDCs, Chief Education Officer Rashpal Chauhan; ZEOs besides concerned officials of Educational institutions.Stressing on early Aadhaar Authentication of Institutions at Institutional and Nodal Officer level, the Deputy Commissioner directed the CEO and other concerned to complete the process by this month end.
Reviewing the zone-wise progress in the registration of the eligible students under these scholarship schemes, he directed the concerned to ensure that no eligible student is left out.The ZEOs were directed to assist the students in completing the codal formalities and submit the authentication Certificate of 100 percent enrollment of all eligible students of their respective zones.Furthermore, CEO Kishtwar was asked to submit the Certificates by 30th Dec. 2021 for timely disbursement of scholarship in the accounts of students through Direct Benefit Transfer mode.
