Jammu : After the arrest of some militants in Jammu region, raids are being conducted in different parts to nab the associates of militants.A police spokesman said a person has been arrested in Jammu who is linked with banned militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.He said the arrested person was tasked by the handlers from across the border to carry out grenade blasts in the city at NHW bye pass road Jammu.The accused has been identified as Muhammad Ashraf son of Ghulam Din, a resident of Lar, Mahore area of Reasi district presently residing at Peerbagh colony, Sunjawan,Jammu.The spokesperson said that two hand grenades were recovered from his possession while a formal case vide FIR No.95/2020 u/s 2/5 explosive substance Act, 18,38,39 UAPA has been registered against him at police station Bagh-e-Bahu.(KNT)
