Casual Employee’s Union (CEU) R&B Held Protest

Srinagar : Massive protest demonstration of Casual Employee’s Union (CEU) of R&B Division Kashmir was held at Chief Office R&B Kashmir under the banner of CEU. Casual labourers appealed authorities for regularization and release of their pending wages which are stuck from the last two years.Casual Employees that they are facing tough times as the department has not released their salaries from the last two years. They said employees are carrying out their duties regularly but the department has left their families in a lurch. Casual Labourers are suffering badly due to delays in the implementation of regularization policy.Vice president of the union said, “We too have families to feed them and children to study them but authorities have put the future of our children in trouble by not releasing the salaries . While addressing the gathering of casual labourers/need-based workers, the Union president condemned the delaying policy of the J&K Government regarding the genuine issues of casual labourers/ need-based engaged in (R&B) Department.They appealed Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu led the administration to intervene in the matter and direct the concerned authorities for regularization & releasing of pending wages at the earliest.
