Anantnag  : Under the government’s Public Outreach Programme initiative, Subdivision/Block Diwas was today held in district headquarter and at all sub divisions of the district.Officers of the District Administration visited many areas of the district to address the issues, grievances and demands of the public. The programme was attended by a large number of local people, PRI members and officers of the line departments at all venues.On the occasion, the public raised few grievances and demands related to essential and non essential services. The officers listened to these grievances patiently and issued appropriate on spot directions to the concerned for redressal of genuine demands.Moreover, the public was assured that the non jurisdictional demands will be projected before the higher authorities.
