Arrangements for I-Day, 2023 celebrations reviewed at Kupwara

Kupwara : In connection with celebration of upcoming Independence Day-2023, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Gh. Nabi Bhat on Thursday took review of the arrangements to be put in place by the respective departments.
At the outset, the ADC took review of the arrangements to be put in place for smooth celebration of upcoming Independence Day.While chairing the meeting, ADC directed all the concerned departments to ensure that various facilities including seating arrangements, cultural programmes, March-Past, transport & parking facilities, power supply, sanitation, water supply, security related matters and other preparations are in place well in time.
The ADC enjoined upon the officers to maintain close coordination with each other for successful conduct of Independence Day function.R&B Division Kupwara was asked to ensure the patch work and repair of the link road leading to the venue is done on priority.
Meeting was attended by ASP Kupwara, ACR Kupwara, CEO Kupwara, Chief Agriculture Officer, Ex. Engineer REW, Principals of Degree Colleges and other concerned officers.
