Doda : Enforcement teams today retrieved 122 Kanal Government land during anti-encroachment drives conducted here at Pranoo, Bhella & Bhallessa areas of this mountainous district.On the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, teams of revenue department comprising Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Girdawar, Patwari, Chowkidar and Lambardar visited village Kundla and retrieved 30 kanal 11 Marla of land which was under illegal possession of the people.The retrieved land was handed over to lambardar and chowkidar with the instructions to prohibit people from further interference on the government land. He was asked to immediately inform the authorities if any fresh attempt of encroachment was made.
Similarly, revenue authorities retrieved 38 Kanal and 9 Marla land including 18 kanal Roshini land under Khasra no. 98 here at village Fangota Niabat Pranoo of Tehsil Doda. The team also stopped an illegal construction being executed and seized 4 construction tools and warned the encroacher against further execution. The team also demolished one temporary shed in the same khasra number.Likewise, 20 kanal government land was retrieved at Village Kahiljugasar of Tehsil Bhallessa and 12 Knaal land at village Thalella of Tehsil Bhella by the teams of revenue officials.
