Jathedar Ranjit Singh Talwandi becomes Secretary General SAD Sanyukat

Chandigarh : Former President of Shiromani Akali Dal and former President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi, eldest son of Talwandi and former MLA from Khanna, has been appointed as Secretary General of the party with the patronage of Shiromani Akali Dal Sanyukat Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahmpura Patron and party president S Sukhdev Singh Dhidsa holding a very important responsibility. This important announcement was made by Mr. Sukhdev Singh Dhidsa during a joint press conference convened at Jathedar Talwandi’s residence 926 Sector 39 today. Highlighting the importance of the Talwandi family, he said that Ranjit Singh Talwandi, son of Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi, known as the Iron Man in Sikh politics, would very wisely take the party activities forward.

On this occasion Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahmpura said that SAD-S was now the most important political party of the Sikh community whose circle was getting wider day by day. Dhidsa and Brahmpura also openly invited other classic Akali families to join the SAD United to form a humble state in Punjab by shaping Sikh politics in the future. Strongly supporting the Kisan Sangharsh, he called for a complete shutdown of India on September 27 and said that one day the Kisan Sangharsh of the country would win successfully.
