Cultural programme and dinner organized in honour of President of India

Shimla : A cultural programme and dinner were organized in the honour of President Ram Nath Kovind at Raj Bhavan here this evening. The country’s first lady Savita Kovind and her daughter Kumari Swati were also present on this occasion.Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and Acting Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Justice Ravi Malimath welcomed the President on his arrival at Raj Bhavan.
The Acting Chief Justice introduced the judges of the High Court to the President.Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Vipin Singh Parmar, Union Minister for Youth Services and Sports and Information & Broadcasting Anurag Thakur, Leader of Opposition in State Vidhan Sabha Mukesh Agnihotri and Cabinet members and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.A colourful cultural programme was also presented by the folk cultural troupes of Sirmaur and Kangra districts on this occasion.
