“I am a loyal worker of the party, I never asked for any department or post from my party”: Anil Vij

Sirsa (Haryana) : Haryana Home and Health Minister, Anil Vij said that “I am a loyal worker of the party, I have never asked for any department or post from my party, even if I make me a peon of BJP office, I will work happily there, but I want to work with respect as it is a habit of mine”. He said that “it is the prerogative of the Chief Minister, who should be made minister and who should not be made minister, who should be given portfolio and who should not be given portfolio”.Sh. Vij was interacting with mediapersons after the meeting of Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Sirsa today.
Investigation of fake message is going on, orders have been given to Director General of Police- Vij
He said that when there are more people, better work happens. Responding to a query regarding a message going viral, Sh. Vij said that he has ordered the Director General of Police to trace and take action from wherever this fake message originated and the finding is on. Similarly, in response to a question regarding medical colleges in Sirsa, he said that work allotment of medical colleges of Sirsa, Kaithal and Yamunanagar is going on and further action will be taken on it soon.
Mapping is being done regarding health facilities in the state- Vij
The Health Minister said that the mapping about the requirements of health facilities in the entire Haryana is going on, in which areas of the state which medical facilities are needed and where beds should be increased and where other medical facilities are needed. In this regard, the Director General of Health Department has been asked to prepare a report soon and that report will be presented to him. After that, wherever there is a need to increase the number of beds, those arrangements will be completed. Similarly, in respect of drug de-addiction centers in every district, he has also given instructions to the Director General of Health Department.
Government committed to stop drug addiction in Haryana- Vij
Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that we are committed to stop drug abuse from entire Haryana and in this episode, our own government has constituted Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau. He said that recently, he has come after inaugurating its headquarters at Madhuban in Karnal and work is being done to provide all the facilities which the Bureau needs. He said that on December 14, 2021, raids were conducted in the entire state in view of the prevention of drug abuse and during this raid 103 FIRs were registered and a large quantity of drug related items were confiscated. He said that clear instructions have been given to the police to continue the intensive action to stop the drug paddling.
Dial 112 ambitious scheme, 17 minutes 54 seconds is good response time- Vij
Similarly, Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that Dial 112 was an ambitious scheme of Haryana state and under this scheme, two vehicles have been given to each police station of Haryana which is connected to the command center set up at Panchkula. He said that in Haryana, 600 vehicles have been provided all over the state to provide security facilities to the people and our response time is very good, under which our vehicle reaches the spot in 17 minutes 54 seconds after receiving the call. Sh. Vij said that we want people to get justice and wherever any officer and employee has been negligent in this regard, action has been taken against him.
Activated the whole system regarding increasing cases of covid-19 – Vij
The Health Minister said that the cases of covid-19 are increasing and this is the sound of the third wave, so we have activated our entire system and taking lessons from the problem during the second wave, we have now provided 84 oxygen plants in government hospitals. The plant has been operated. Similarly, 54 oxygen plants are operating in private hospitals. In this episode, today he himself has come after visiting Fatehabad Civil Hospital, where he himself has seen, tested and tested the facilities like oxygen plant, ventilator etc. Sh. Vij said that we have a large number of oxygen concentrators and wherever there is power backup in PHC or CHC, we are getting these oxygen concentrators installed in a suitable quantity. Similarly, Sh. Vij said that we also have sufficient quantity of medicines. He said that earlier there was not a single lab of covid-19 test in Haryana, but as of today, except Jhajjar district in Haryana, test lab of covid-19 has been established in every district and RTPCR test is being done in every district. And soon RTPCR lab will be operational in Jhajjar too. Apart from this, the lab for genome sequencing has been established at MD University, Rohtak and we have got the certificate related to its operation, where 92 tests have been sent yesterday. Earlier we had to go to Delhi for genome sequencing and it used to take a lot of time.
It will be the responsibility of the owner of that institution to ensure that those who do not have vaccinated two vaccines of corona – Vij
Sh. Vij said that from tomorrow i.e. from January 1, 2022, wherever gathering are being held in any office, mall, banquet hall or restaurant, then those people who have not had two vaccines of corona will not be allowed. It will be the responsibility of the owner of that institution to ensure that. In this regard, instructions have been given to the Deputy Commissioners concerned to make a team in their respective district magistrates and conduct inspections.
Registration of children of 15 to 18 years for covid-19 vaccination will start from January 1, the work of vaccinating these children will start from Monday, January 3 – Vij
Similarly, Sh. Vij said that from tomorrow January 1, the registration of children of 15 to 18 years for covid-19 vaccination will be started and from Monday 3 January the work of vaccinating these children will start. He said that there are 15 lakh 40 thousand children in Haryana who would be vaccinated. He said that a separate site would be earmarked for them, if wherever a separate side is not available, then separate sessions would be set up for them and their lines would also be made separate and the staff would also be separate. He said that the government is fully prepared to deal with Omicron and in Haryana, 97 percent have got the first vaccine and 68 percent have got the second vaccine. All the Deputy Commissioners have been instructed to ensure that both the doses are administered to all the government employees.
The political ambitions of the farmer leaders have come to the fore- Vij
Anil Vij said that the political ambitions of the farmers leaders had come to the fore. He said that this movement has been prolonged due to political motives.
District Public Relations Grievance Redressal Committee meeting, Vij came in action mode, suspended five including BDPO, Sub Inspector, two Assistant Sub Inspectors
During the meeting of District Public Relations Grievance Redressal Committee held in Sirsa, Home and Health Minister Anil Vij suspended the former and present BDPO of Ellenabad in the matter of delaying the investigation. Apart from this, five including one sub-inspector, two assistant sub-inspectors were also suspended. The DSP of Ellenabad was severely reprimanded on the matter of construction on private land with government funds. Vij was given a complaint against the police department of Kotli village, on which instructions were given to take action after receiving the FSL report.
