Chandigarh : Haryana Home, Urban Local Bodies and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that “Working is my passion and during the Janata Darbar people from far-flung areas of Haryana keep their grievances and problems before me and I am constantly trying to redress their grievances”. He said that “I am a worker and I understand that one must act”. Keeping this in mind, “I am working and listening to the complaints of the people”. He said this while taking up the complaints of people coming from far-flung areas of Haryana in Ambala Cantonment today.

Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, while listening to the complaints of the applicants during the Janata Darbar, said that “When Anil Vij writes then there is surety that officials will act it”. Action is taken on the letter written by him and it is his responsibility to get justice to people”.

The Home Minister said that “I don’t want any work to stop because of me, if the files stop, then the government work is hampered, I try that no file in my office remains pending, I do not keep any kind of pandency, and take decision on the spot decision”. He said that “the complaints that come during the Janata Darbar, are marked to the officer concerned for action related to the complaint”. Along with this, a message is also sent to the applicant by his office on mobile. Along with submitting the Action Taken Report to the authorities within 15 days, the applicant is also sent an update regarding action taken on his complaint. For which necessary guidelines have already been given to the officials.

On this occasion, the Home Minister also said that it is the kindness of the people that people come from far flung areas of Haryana to thank him and he is grateful to them. It is also the responsibility of the government to listen the problems of the people. During Janata Darbar, people come from far places of Haryana and not just Ambala Cantonment and keep their grievances and I take immediate action on the complaint of the concerned applicant and ensure that the complainant gets justice.

During the Janata Darbar, when an applicant requested the Home Minister about calling the concerned officer, the Home Minister told the applicant that the letter written has a faster impact than making a phone call. Don’t worry, your complaint will be dealt with immediately. He said that during the Janata Darbar, people share their sorrows. Empathising with their pain, I direct the concerned officers to dispose of the complaint of the applicant by marking the complaint. People are also getting justice.

The Home Minister said that SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) is a serious disease. The health department is working to provide free treatment to patients suffering from some other diseases. I will try that the patient suffering from SMA should also get free treatment, whatever work will be done for this, I am trying. He said this while listening to the problem of the petitioner suffering from this disease in the darbar from Naraingarh area.

Similarly, a person from Palwal district apprised the Home Minister about the negligence of doctors and police in the murder of his brother and proper action not being taken in the matter. The Home Minister, while marking the complaint to the DGP, Haryana, assured about bringing justice to the applicant. The Home Minister seriously listened to the complaints of all the applicants during the Janata Darbar and also directed the concerned officers to mark the complaints and dispose them expeditiously.

*Home Minister met a delegation of Chowkidars*
A delegation of chowkidars also met the Home Minister during the Janata Darbar, demanding some of their salaries. The Home Minister assured the them that they would defend like a lawyer and try to get their salary-related demands fulfilled.
*Home Minister heard various complaints*
Gulzari Lal, who came from Nilokheri during the Janata Durbar, spoke about the problem in relation to the registry of shops, a family from Khaira Naggal about the non-action of the police in the case of land related fraud, a person resident of Kurukshetra made a quarrel. In the case of not taking proper action by the police in the case of the attack on her 75-year-old elderly mother, a woman resident of Kaithal, in the name of sending her son abroad. The police did not take action against the accused who cheated Rs 20 lakhs. Resident Gurjant Singh told about getting BPL ration card, a woman resident of Sonipat did not take any action against the accused who cheated Rs 14 lakh in the name of getting a job in the railways, a woman resident of Ponti of Yamunanagar district complained about no action being taken in molestation case against her brother in law.
Meanwhile, a couple family resident of Matlauda in Panipat district complained that police did not take action despite complaining about being cheated in a land-related matter, an elderly resident of Delhi accused his daughter. Along with this, despite giving a complaint to the police in the case of assault by the in-laws in Gurugram, a family from Julana’s village Bakhta Kheda, two accused by the police in the case of the son-in-law’s murder of his son. During the Janta Darbar, where the Home Minister listened to the complaints of the people continuously for three hours and when the number of applicants increased then the complaints were heard in PWD Rest House, so that people should not face any problem. Some complaints were serious and they were marked to the police complete authority. During this, the number of women was also high and the Home Minister went to each applicant and listened to their grievances and also marked their complaints to the concerned officers for disposal of these complaints.On this occasion, Mandal Pradhan Rajiv Dimple, Media Coordinator Vijender Chauhan, Sanjeev Soni, Balkesh Vats, Abhikant Vats, Ravi Sehgal, DSP Ram Kumar, Anil Kumar along with other officers were present.
