Two nodal officers will be deployed for monitoring the hospitals in each district of Haryana : Anil Vij

Chandigarh : Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij said that two nodal officers would be appointed for each district of the state, out of which one officer would monitor the arrangements at the government hospital in each district and submit its report. Similarly, the second nodal officer will monitor the private hospitals of the district concerned and provide information about the arrangements available there to the state government. Apart from this, he said that telemedicine would be made effective in Haryana and for this, senior officers of the health department would be put on duty on 1075.Sh.Vij was presiding over a meeting of senior officers of Health Department and Medical Education and Research Department here today in which the current situation of corona infection was also discussed.

Ordered 1500 kits for genome sequencing – Vij
Sh. Vij said that an order for 1500 kits has been placed for genome sequencing and these 1500 kits will be provided to the state government in three phases. It was told during the meeting that 96 samples can be done from a single genome sequencing kit.A survey / mapping will be done in the state soon for facilities like infrastructure and equipment related to health services – Vij
The Health Minister said that a survey/mapping would soon be conducted in the state for facilities like the infrastructure and equipment related to health services, in which area, where infrastructure and medical equipment as well as services are required. Accordingly, in the coming times, infrastructure, medical equipment as well as manpower will be made available in those areas.
Home isolation kits will be prepared at the headquarters level and these kits will be sent to the districts soon – Vij
Apart from this, Sh. Vij said that home isolation kits would be prepared at the headquarters level and these kits would be sent to the districts soon so that this kit could be made available to the patients living in home isolation in a time bound manner. Similarly, Sh. Vij said that at present the health department has all the adequate medicines and infrastructure related to covid.

Children between 15 to 18 years should get their covid dose done as soon as possible- Vij
During the meeting, the Health Minister urged all the parents and children between 15 to 18 years to get their covid dose done at the earliest, otherwise when the school opens, the child who does not get the dose will not be allowed to enter the school. Therefore, he requests all such parents and children to get their covid vaccine as soon as possible so that they do not face any kind of problem in future.
In Haryana, 3 crore 76 lakh 31188 vaccine administered yo the people – Vij
Similarly, Sh. Vij informed that so far 3 crore 76 lakh 31188 vaccine have been administered to the people in Haryana, out of which 2 crore 18 lakh 80 thousand 724 have been given the first dose and 1 crore 57 lakh 9328 have been given the second dose and 41136 precaution doses have been administered to the people, he added.
Telemedicine will be made effective in Haryana, patients living in home isolation should be monitored daily- Vij
While directing the officers of the Health Department, Sh.Vij said that the patients living in home isolation should be monitored daily and information should be provided to them through telemedicine. He said that telemedicine would be made effective in Haryana and for this, senior officers of health department would be put on duty on 1075 so that they could give effective form to telemedicine by visiting eSanjeevani daily. During the meeting, it was informed that at present there are about 30000 patients in Haryana under home isolation.

Consultancy services under eSanjeevani OPD National Tele launched in Haryana
It was informed in the meeting that through the eSanjeevani OPD app, the patients living in isolation are given advice and counseling through consultancy. eSanjeevani OPD is an online stay home OPD under National Tele and Government of India counseling services started in Haryana. One can consult doctor through video call/live chat using laptop/desktop or android based smart phone with active internet.It was informed in the meeting that Haryana is on eSanjeevani OPD from May 01, 2020.

Presently, 2 OPDs are functional at e-Sanjeevani OPD i.e. General OPD and Gynecology OPD and General OPD is operational to provide round the clock tele-consultation on e-Sanjeevani OPD from 16th August, 2021. A total of 1138 doctors are registered for providing tele-consultation on eSanjeevani OPD and a total of 62582 consultations have been done on eSanjeevani OPD in Haryana so far.In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Principal Secretary of Medical Education and Research department, Smt. G. Anupama, MD of AYUSH Department Dr. Saket Kumar, Director General of Health Services Dr. Veena Singh, Director of Medical Education and Research department, Dr. Shaleen along with other senior officers were present.
