Rs. 2600 crore project approved to resolve drinking water and drainage problems in Faridabad

Chandigarh : Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh while chairing the fifth meeting of the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) held here today accorded approval to a project worth approximately Rs. 2600 crore to provide relief to the residents of Faridabad from drinking water and drainage problems.
Under this project, 22 Ranney wells, 70 tube wells using reverse rotary technology, and 8 boosting stations will be constructed. Additionally, subsidiary boosting stations will be built to supply water to other boosting stations, and about 500 km of pipeline will be laid.
With the execution of this project, the water supply capacity will reach 450 MLD. Upon completing this major project by 2028-2029, the number of Ranney wells in Faridabad will increase to 56 and there will be 220 tube wells.In the meeting, approval was also given to a project to sewage and replace the old sewage system for drainage of rainwater.
This will cost approximately Rs. 1289 crore. This project includes rehabilitation/replacement of main sewer, intersection of storm water drain, repair/rehabilitation of damaged pips.Furthermore, to ensure uninterrupted water supply and to improve the groundwater level, a project regarding developing water bodies along the Yamuna river was also approved, with an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 17 crore.
*Raja Nahar Singh Stadium and Sports Complex to be developed with an expenditure of Rs. 292 crore
The Haryana government is continuously emphasizing providing world-class sports infrastructure to the youth of the state. As part of this effort, the Raja Nahar Singh International Cricket Stadium in Faridabad will be modernized and developed into a world-class integrated sports complex. For this, a project worth approximately Rs. 292 crore was approved today.
Under this project, courts for outdoor sports like basketball, tennis, badminton, and volleyball will be built. Additionally, an athletic track, jogging track, Olympic-size swimming pool, and cycling track will also be constructed. Moreover, separate infrastructure will be developed for indoor sports as well.
In the meeting, approval was also given for the redevelopment project of the sports club located in NH-3 Faridabad. This includes the construction of a swimming pool, cafeteria, courts for various sports, and development of indoor sports facilities, with an expenditure of approximately Rs. 83 crore.
*Two projects to connect East Faridabad with West Faridabad with a total cost of Rs.1530 crore also approved
In the meeting, approval was also given to two projects to connect East Faridabad with West Faridabad. The total cost of these projects will cost approximately Rs. 1530 crore. The project from East Faridabad to West Faridabad (Badhkal route) proposes the construction of five flyovers, five U-turns, and a connecting flyover at Ankhir Chowk (From Surajkund side). Additionally, approach roads, service roads, and drainage facilities will also be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 848 crore.
Similarly, approximately Rs. 682 crore will be spent on the project from East Faridabad to West Faridabad (Bata route). This includes the construction of four flyovers, three U-turns, an underpass, and a connecting flyover towards Mullah Hotel at Masjid Chowk. Additionally, approach roads, service roads, and drainage facilities will also be completed.
Furthermore, approval was also given to the construction of a new sewage treatment plant (STP) with a capacity of 45 MLD and a main pumping station (MPS) in Badshahpur at an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 126 crore. Currently, the repair and rehabilitation of another 45 MLD STP in Badshahpur is underway and is expected to be completed by July 30. Additionally, under the master water supply plan, a proposal to replace the existing pipeline for water discharge at a cost of approximately Rs. 77 crore was also approved.
The Chief Minister directed the officers concerned to expedite the ongoing projects so that the public can benefit from them. He also directed them to prepare a timeline for new projects, set short-term and long-term goals, and complete the projects within the stipulated time and directed the officer to pay special attention to ensure cleanliness in cities.

Aseem Goel, Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, Sh. Subhash Sudha, MLAs, Chief Secretary, Sh. TVSN Prasad, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. Rajesh Khullar, Advisor Urban Planning, Sh. D.S. Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Town and Country Planning Department, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, CEO, FMDA, Sh. A. Sreenivas, and other officers also remained present on this occasion. Union Minister of State for Cooperation, Sh. Krishan Pal and other FMDA members also participated via video conferencing.

मुख्यमंत्री की अध्यक्षता में हुई एफएमडीए की बैठक में 2600 करोड़ रुपये के प्रोजेक्ट को मिली मंजूरी

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह की अध्यक्षता में आज यहां हुई फरीदाबाद मेट्रोपॉलिटन डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी की पांचवीं बैठक में फरीदाबादवासियों को पेयजल और जल निकासी की समस्या से निजात दिलाने के लिए लगभग 2600 करोड़ रुपये के प्रोजेक्ट को मंजूरी प्रदान की गई है। इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत 22 रैनीवैल, रिवर्स रोटरी तकनीक से 70 ट्यूबवेल और 8 बूस्टिंग स्टेशन बनाए जाएंगे।
इसके अलावा, अन्य बूस्टिंग स्टेशनों तक भी पानी की आपूर्ति करने के लिए सब्सिडरी बूस्टिंग स्टेशनों के निर्माण के साथ-साथ लगभग 500 किमी पाइपलाइन भी बिछाई जाएगी। इस प्रोजेक्ट के पूरा होने से जल आपूर्ति क्षमता 450 एमएलडी तक पहुंच जाएगी। वर्ष 2028-2029 तक इस बड़ी परियोजना के पूरा होने के बाद फरीदाबाद में रैनीवेल्स की संख्या 56 हो जाएगी और 220 ट्यूबवेल होंगे।बैठक में बरसाती पानी की निकासी के लिए सीवरेज की सफाई और पुराने सीवरेज सिस्टम को बदलने के लिए भी प्रोजेक्ट को मंजूरी दी गई है।
इस पर लगभग 1289 करोड़ रुपए की लागत आएगी। इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत मौजूदा सीवरेज प्रणाली का पुनरुद्धार, नई लाइनों को बिछाना, सीआईपीपी लाइनिंग, मुख्य सीवर लाइनों की सफाई, नए प्रस्तावित पंपिंग स्टेशन, मौजूदा पंपिंग स्टेशनों की मरम्मत और नवीनीकरण का कार्य शामिल है। इसके अलावा, पानी की निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने और भूजल स्तर में सुधार करने के लिए यमुना के साथ-साथ वाटर बॉडिज बनाने के प्रोजेक्ट को भी मंजूरी दी गई। इस पर लगभग 17 करोड़ रुपए की लागत आएगी।
राजा नाहर सिंह स्टेडियम और स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स का होगा विकास, 292 करोड़ रुपए होंगे खर्च
हरियाणा सरकार लगातार प्रदेश के युवाओं को विश्व स्तरीय खेल अवसंरचना प्रदान करने पर जोर दे रही है। इसी कड़ी में फरीदाबाद शहर में राजा नाहर सिंह अंतर्राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट स्टेडियम के आधुनिकीकरण सहित इसे विश्व स्तरीय एकीकृत खेल परिसर के रूप में विकसित किया जाएगा। इसके लिए आज लगभग 292 करोड़ रुपए के प्रोजेक्ट को मंजूरी प्रदान की गई है।
इसके तहत आउटडोर खेलों के लिए बास्केटबॉल, टेनिस, बैडमिंटन, वॉलीबॉल कोर्ट बनाए जाएंगे। साथ ही एथलेटिक ट्रैक, जोगिंग ट्रैक ओलंपिक साई स्वीमिंग पूल और साइकिल ट्रैक भी बनाए जाएंगे। इतना ही नहीं, इंडोर खेलों के लिए भी अलग से ढांचागत निर्माण किया जाएगा। बैठक में एनएच-3 फरीदाबाद में स्थित खेल क्लब के पुनर्विकास प्रोजेक्ट को भी मंजूरी दी गई। इसमें स्विमिंग पूल, कैफेटेरिया, विभिन्न खेलों के लिए कोर्ट बनाए जाएंगे और साथ ही इंडोर खेल सुविधाएं भी विकसित की जाएंगी। इस पर लगभग 83 करोड़ रुपये की राशि खर्च की जाएगी।
ईस्ट फरीदाबाद को वेस्ट फरीदाबाद से जोड़ने के लिए भी 2 प्रोजेक्ट को मिली मंजूरी, कुल 1530 करोड़ रुपये की आएगी लागत
बैठक में ईस्ट फरीदाबाद को वेस्ट फरीदाबाद से जोड़ने के लिए 2 प्रोजेक्ट को मंजूरी प्रदान की गई है। इन दोनों परियोजनाओं की कुल लागत लगभग 1530 करोड़ रुपये आएगी। ईस्ट फरीदाबाद से वेस्ट फरीदाबाद (बड़खल रूट) पर पाँच फ्लाईओवर, 5 यू-टर्न और अंखीर चौक (सूरजकुंड की तरफ से) पर एक कनेक्टिंग फ्लाईओवर बनाया जाना प्रस्तावित है। इसके साथ, एप्रोच रोड, सविर्स रोड और ड्रेनेज सुविधाओं को भी पूरा किया जाएगा। इस पर लगभग 848 करोड़ की लागत आएगी।
इसी प्रकार, ईस्ट फरीदाबाद से वेस्ट फरीदाबाद (बाटा रूट) के प्रोजेक्ट पर भी लगभग 682 करोड रुपए खर्च किए जाएंगे। इसमें 4 फ्लाईओवर, 3 यू-टर्न, एक अंडरपास, और मस्जिद चौक पर मुल्ला होटल की ओर एक कनेक्टिंग फ्लाईओवर बनाया जाना प्रस्तावित है। इसके साथ, एप्रोच रोड, सविर्स रोड और ड्रेनेज सुविधाओं को भी पूरा किया जाएगा।
बैठक में बादशाहपुर में 45 एमएलडी क्षमता वाले नए सीवेज उपचार संयंत्र (एसटीपी) और मुख्य पंपिंग स्टेशन (एमपीएस) के निर्माण के प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी दी गई। इसकी अनुमानित लागत लगभग 126 करोड़ रुपये आएगी। वर्तमान में बादशाहपुर में एक और 45 एमएलडी एसटीपी की मरम्मत और पुनर्वास का कार्य चल रहा है, जिसके 30 जुलाई तक पूरा होने की संभावना है। इसके अलावा, मास्टर वाटर सप्लाई योजना के तहत लगभग 77 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से पानी के डिस्चार्ज हेतु मौजूदा पाइपलाइन को बदलने के प्रस्ताव को भी मंजूरी प्रदान की गई।
मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि वर्तमान में चल रही परियोजनाओं को तीव्र गति से पूरा करवाएं ताकि जनता को उनका लाभ मिल सके। साथ ही, नई परियोजनाओं की विधिवत टाइमलाइन तैयार करके अल्पावधि और दीर्घकालिक लक्ष्य निर्धारित करते हुए तय समयावधि में परियोजनाओं को पूरा करवाएं। उन्होंने यह भी निर्देश दिए कि शहरों में सफाई व्यवस्था पर विशेष फोकस किया जाए।
बैठक में उद्योग एवं वाणिज्य मंत्री श्री मूल चंद शर्मा, नगर एवं ग्राम आयोजना मंत्री श्री जे.पी. दलाल, शिक्षा राज्य मंत्री श्रीमती सीमा त्रिखा, परिवहन राज्य मंत्री श्री असीम गोयल, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय राज्य मंत्री श्री सुभाष सुधा, विधायक गण, मुख्य सचिव श्री टीवीएसएन प्रसाद, मुख्यमंत्री के मुख्य प्रधान सचिव श्री राजेश खुल्लर, अर्बन प्लानिंग सलाहकार श्री डी.एस. ढेसी, नगर एवं ग्राम आयोजना विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्री अरुण कुमार गुप्ता, एफएमडीए के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी श्री ए. श्रीनिवास और अन्य अधिकारी भी मौजूद थे। बैठक में केंद्रीय सहकारिता राज्य मंत्री श्री कृष्ण पाल और एफएमडीए के अन्य सदस्य वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए शामिल हुए।
