Chief Minister visit the residence of martyr Naik Gurpreet Singh, Assures support to bereaved family

Ambala : Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday visited the residence of the martyr Naik Gurpreet Singh in Sherpur village, Ambala district, to extend his condolences and offer support to the bereaved family. Naik Gurpreet Singh, a valiant soldier of the 04 Ladakh Scout Unit, tragically lost his life during a patrol in Leh-Ladakh due to an accidental fall into icy waters.
Minister of State for Transport, Sh. Aseem Goel Naneola, Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, Sh. Subhash Sudha, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Parth Gupta also accompanied the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister while expressing condolences with the family members assured the unwavering support to them. He said that the state government stands firmly with the family during this difficult time and will extend all possible assistance to them.

नायब सिंह सैनी ने शहीद नायक गुरप्रीत सिंह के घर जाकर उनके परिजनों से मिलकर शोक व्यक्त किया

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने आज जिला अंबाला के गांव शेरपुर में शहीद नायक गुरप्रीत सिंह के घर जाकर उनके परिजनों से मिलकर शोक व्यक्त करते हुए शोक संतप्त परिवार को ढांढस बंधाया। उन्होंने कहा कि दुख की इस घड़ी में सरकार उनके साथ खड़ी है और उनकी हर संभव मदद की जाएगी। उन्होंने शहीद नायक गुरप्रीत सिंह के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित कर उन्हें नमन करते हुए श्रद्धांजलि दी।
इस अवसर पर उनके साथ हरियाणा के परिवहन और महिला एवं बाल विकास राज्यमंत्री श्री असीम गोयल नन्यौला, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय राज्य मंत्री श्री सुभाष सुधा, उपायुक्त श्री पार्थ गुप्ता, पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री सुरेन्द्र भोरिया मौजूद रहे। उल्लेखनीय है कि शहीद नायक गुरप्रीत सिंह लेह-लद्दाख में 04 लद्दाख स्काउट यूनिट में डयूटी पर तैनात थे। डयूटी के दौरान गश्त करते हुए पैर फिसलने से बर्फीले पानी में गिरने से उनकी मृत्यु हो गई थी। स्वर्गीय नायक गुरप्रीत सिंह अपने पीछे पिता दलीप सिंह, माता देवेन्द्र कौर, बहन मनप्रीत कौर, पत्नी हरलीन कौर, दो पुत्र सहजवीर सिंह व तेजवीर सिंह को छोड़ गये हैं।
