Various types of training will be given to paramedical staff and doctors- Anil Vij

Chandigarh : Haryana Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that catering service will be provided in 31 civil hospitals with more than 100 bed capacity in the state and for this, directions have been given to the officers of the Health Department today so that food will be provided to patients in the hospitals. Sh. Vij was presiding over the meeting of Health Department officers here today.In the meeting, the Health Minister directed the officers to increase the number of private rooms in the civil hospitals of the state and action should be taken in this direction. Apart from this, he also directed the officers for arrangements should be made to provide various types of training to the paramedical staff and doctors of the health department so that they can be made aware of the new techniques coming in the medical world.Sh. Vij said that efforts are on to make the civil hospitals of Haryana air-conditioned and the officers have been directed to increase the number of oxygen beds in the hospitals.

The Health Minister said that civil hospitals equipped with state-of-the-art technology would be constructed in Gurugram, Hisar, and Karnal.The Health Minister said that he wants that “high-quality health facilities should be available to the citizens in Haryana so that no citizen of the state has to go outside the state for treatment”. For this, soon the work of health-related mapping will be started, and taking forward the work in this direction, a committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Saket Kumar, Director General, Department of AYUSH, which will provide information on health services and facilities as per the need. He said that health facilities and services can be made available at such places as per the requirement.During the meeting, the Health Minister was also apprised about various activities related to health. Director-General of Health Services Department Dr. Veena Singh, Dr. Rekha, Dr. Praveen Sethi and Dr. Bansal, and other officers were present in the meeting.
