Chief Minister Manohar Lal will lay the foundation stone of the domestic airport (Civil Enclave) on the first Navratri on October 15 – Anil Vij

Ambala : Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the establishment of Domestic Airport (Civil Enclave) under RCS Udaan Scheme in Ambala Cantonment will increase business and employment opportunities in the surrounding area of Ambala. It is noteworthy that the work of Civil Enclave will be started soon by Haryana State Bridge Road and Development Corporation as the foundation stone is laid, which will probably be completed in the next 6 months.
Sh. Vij said that the status of a city increases which has an airport and attracts the attention of investors. He said that a ring road is being constructed in Ambala and efforts are being made to develop the industry area along with it. With the construction of the airport, businessmen will be able to travel to Ambala daily from places like Delhi, Mumbai etc.Home Minister Anil Vij was inspecting the preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Civil Enclave near Ambala Air Force Station today evening.
During this, while interacting with media persons, he said that there is a wave of happiness in Ambala and surrounding areas after getting the government approval for the domestic airport in Ambala. He said that people from Himachal Pradesh come here because Ambala Cantonment is a junction. Apart from Haryana, people from areas of Western UP and Uttarakhand will get flights from Ambala.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had cherished the dream that even a common man can fly in an aero-plane. Under this scheme, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had given special favor to us and sanctioned Rs 133 crores for 20 acres of land and this amount has been deposited in the Defense Ministry. He said that the remaining process of this project is also being completed.

Home Minister Anil Vij said that on the first Navratri on October 15, Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal will lay the foundation stone of Civil Enclave and on this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Dushyant Chautala and other dignitaries will also participate in the program. Apart from this, Union Civil Aviation Minister along with Minister of State for Civil Aviation V.K. Singh will also be requested to attend in the program.
*Correspondence done with Defense Minister for four-lane airport road – Vij*
Home Minister Anil Vij said that in order to four-lane the Domestic Airport Road, a correspondence has been sent to Defense Minister Sh. Rajnath Singh requesting him to four-lane the road. The stretch of road from Capitol Chowk to GT Road is two-lane and the construction of the airport will increase the traffic pressure. Therefore, a request has been made to four-lane.

Home Minister Anil Vij inspected the spot and discussed with the officials regarding the foundation stone laying ceremony of the airport. He also gave directions to the officials regarding stage, seating of people, vehicle parking, entry point and other. He instructed the officials that the work should be started on the spot by the agency from the day of foundation stone laying. Apart from this, he discussed traffic and other arrangements with the police officers on the spot.

Deputy Commissioner of Ambala, Dr. Shaleen said that the layout has been prepared under this project. From the security point of view, the BCI agency of the Government of India has also visited. Instructions will be given to the concerned officers to ensure that all the arrangements are in place for the program to be organized on 15th October.
