Chandigarh : Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that we want to provide state-of-the-art facilities in all the hospitals and 162 dilapidated PHCs and CHCs will be made new, tender for which has been issued and work has also been started at some places. Sh. Vij said that apart from this, administrative approval has been given for 134 sub health centres, 2 primary health centres, one community and 37 public health centres.
Sh. Vij was answering a question during the winter session of the Assembly here today. He said that a proposal to establish cath lab and MRI services under the PPP mode in Mukund Lal Civil hospital in Yamunanagar is under consideration. But at present, there is no proposal under consideration to establish or provide ICU or radiotherapy services. He said that approximately 6 months are expected to finalize the tender process for Cath Lab and MRI services.
The Health Minister said that cath lab services are currently running in 04 districts (Ambala, Faridabad, Gurugram, and Panchkula) under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Tender has already been issued for 03 more districts Sonipat, Bahadurgarh (Jhajjar) and Yamunanagar. Cath lab services are likely to start after finalizing the tender process.
He said that Under the P.P.P. mode, MRI services is being provided in 05 districts (Ambala, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurugram and Panchkula) and Tender has already been issued for 03 more districts. He said that 05 more districts (Kurukshetra, Panipat, Bahadurgarh, (Jhajjar) Palwal and Charkhi Dadri) MRI services are being provided. A proposal to establish MRI services is also under consideration in in Mukund Lal Civil hospital in Yamunanagar.
