State Government is committed to making Haryana a model state in the field of health services : Anil Vij

Ambala : Haryana Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that work is being carried out to make Haryana a model state in the country in the field of health services, in which Construction of civil hospitals, treatment with state-of-the-art medical facilities, reconstruction of 162 PHCs, services of ECG machine upto PHC level, X-ray machine, e-treatment facility along with other medical facilities are included.
The Health Minister was addressing gathering after laying the foundation stone of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay State Tuberculosis and Cardio-Respiratory Disease Institute in Ambala city today. On this occasion, MLA of Ambala city Asim Goyal Nanyaula, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Dr. G. Anupama, Director General of Health Services Sonia Trikha were present.
*Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay State Institute of Tuberculosis and Cardio-Respiratory Diseases will have all the modern medical facilities – Vij*
Congratulating on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of the institute, Health Minister Anil Vij said that this will not only be a TB hospital but a TB Institute, for which we have laid the foundation stone today. This hospital will be equipped with all the modern medical facilities, which will include all the laboratories and other medical facilities under one roof. There will be a provision of 2 ICUs in this hospital, in which one ICU will be related to TB and one ICU related to non-TB.
*Nearby districts and other states will benefit from TB Institute – Vij*
He said that the nearby districts and other states will also benefit from TB Institute and this institute will be the first of its kind. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make TB free by 2025. He also said that the number of TB patients is approximately 63 thousand.
The health department is continuously working to get rid of this disease. Social organizations are also working for such patients through Nikshay Mitra. On this occasion, MLA Aseem Goyal took a pledge to help 51 such TB patients through Nikshay Mitra and expressed his gratitude for the same.
He also said that there is no dearth of donors, they should come forward voluntarily and help such people and get their names registered through the online process. More and more people should come forward and play their role in this work, inspire not only the people of Ambala but also other districts for this noble cause.
*Health services are being expanded in the entire state- Vij*
Health Minister Anil Vij said that work for expansion of health services is not only being done in Ambala city and Ambala Cantonment but work is being done in the entire Haryana. Talking about Ambala city, construction of 100 bed to 200 bed hospital, construction of PHC in Nanyaula, construction of CHC in Choudmastpur along with others are included.
Medical facilities are continuously being improved in Haryana. Construction work of hospitals is being done in Yamunanagar, Shahbad, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Bahadurgarh and Multi speciality hospital will be built in Gurugram. In Haryana, 162 PHCs has been identified for reconstruct.
Vij said that those times are gone when there were dilapidated buildings, only fans and toilet facilities. If we want a good medical system, then the infrastructure and other facilities should also be better, for which we are continuously working. He said that Ambala Cantonment Civil Hospital is the best hospital in North India, along with this the facility of Atal Cancer Care Center is available here.
He also said that there is no shortage of funds in Manohar Lal’s government in the state. The cancer hospital will be expanded so that along with the patients, the attendants can also get accommodation. We are determined to provide better medical facilities in civil hospitals all over Haryana.
*Creating cadre for recruitment of specialist doctors is being carried out*
On this occasion, the Health Minister also said that work is being done to create a cadre for the recruitment of specialist doctors. The Health Minister also said that Haryana is the first state in the country where health services related mapping is being done.
Earlier hospitals were opened on demand basis, I want people to get medical facilities on need basis for which we are working. He also said that the Central Government has appreciated the Health Department and given an amount of Rs 1 crore for the mapping work related to health services.

On this occasion, the Health Minister also said that the work of making health cards of about two crore people of the state is being done by examining their health. People’s health is being checked from door to door, so that if any person has any serious illness, it can be treated immediately.
Work is also being done to provide e-treatment facility in PHC. Haryana is the first state where AYUSH University has been established in Kurukshetra. Along with this, approval has been given to build 500 wellness centers in the state. He said that I want that work is being done to build hospitals for all the pathologies by which the patient can be treated, be it allopathic, homeopathic, Ayurvedic, Siddha, Unani.

He said that a person needs two things very much which include education and health, along with this there is also infrastructure, work is being done to provide all these facilities to the people in the state. Progress is taking place all around, including 152D from Ambala to Kot Putli, Ring Road, Ambala to Delhi, Ambala to Chandigarh via highway etc.
The Health Minister said that the opposition had never even dreamed of the amount of development work we have done, we have done the work of carrying out these development works on the ground. Attacking the opposition, he said that Congress has not been able to form its own organization for 10 years, their infighting is visible to everyone, it is a dictatorial party, whereas Bharatiya Janata Party is a democratic party.
On this occasion, he also took a dig at former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda and said that the dreams he is having of becoming the Chief Minister are baseless, he can never become the Chief Minister again. They have prepared a room for him in the jail.

Box:-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay State Institute of Tuberculosis and Cardio-Respiratory Diseases will be built on 1.8 acres, which will have basement, ground floor and four floors, 24-hour emergency facility will be available for chest related diseases. In this hospital, OPD for various diseases, facilities of modern test machines, digital X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound center will also be available.
