Common SOP of Enforcement Bureau will be prepared- Anil Vij

Chandigarh : Haryana Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that mapping will be carried out in 8 districts to stop illegal mining. It is being started from Yamunanagar district. Apart from this, Common SOP will also be prepared of the Enforcement Bureau. Sh. Vij gave this information in a meeting with officials of Haryana State Enforcement Bureau today.
While giving instructions to the officers, the Home Minister said that all the departments will give the SOP of their respective departments so that the common SOP of the Bureau can be prepared. He said that mapping is very important to stop illegal mining. Along with this, GPS chips should be installed in legal mining vehicles so that illegal mining can be stopped. Along with this, e-ravana should also be made mandatory.
While giving instructions to the officers, he said that maximum strictness should be taken to stop illegal mining because the job of all of us is to stop of illegal mining from the state. He said that night vision cameras should be installed outside the distilleries in the state so that we have complete information about the activities of every vehicle coming and going from there. Sh. Vij said that the employees working in various related departments who have been appointed in the Bureau and who have not yet joined duty in the Bureau, should be given notice because it is necessary to have employees to functioning the Bureau properly.
Apart from this, he said that the functioning of the Bureau should be ensured in each district. While giving instructions to the officers, he said that every month’s progress report of the bureaus should also be presented to him. He has also instructed the officers to conduct special monitoring to strictly deal with illegal mining activities in the state. It is noteworthy that the state government has set up a bureau to monitor and initiate action in cases of illegal mining, encroachment on government sites, illegal construction, challan and illegal liquor trade.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Sh. TVSN Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary of Mining Department Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary of Energy Department Sh. AK Singh, Director General of Haryana Police Sh. Shatrujit Kapoor, Principal Secretary of Transport Department Sh. Navdeep Singh Virk, ADGP SS Chawla, Secretary and Commissioner of Irrigation and Water Resources Department Sh. Pankaj Aggarwal, Director General of Town and Country Planning Department Sh.TL Satyaprakash, Director General of Mining Department Sh. Mandeep Singh Brar, Commissioner of Excise and Taxation Department Sh. Ashok Kumar Meena including officials from other departments were present.
