Ambala : Haryana Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that “any kind of hooliganism and bullying will not be tolerated in the state, because I have given free hand to the police to take action against them.Sh. Vij was addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone of construction work of Police post Housing Board to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.32 crore along with Khukrain Bhawan in Ambala Cantonment today.
He said that we have always done politics of development, never politics of religion and caste, his manifesto is of one line, “Kaam kiya tha kaam karenge” he is working on the basis of that.He said that a modern police post would be set up in Ambala Cantonment, so that the people as well as the police would get basic facilities here.
He said that at the place where the new police post is being built; earlier the filth of the entire city was dumped there. Earlier there used to be piles of filth at the place of Subhash Park nearby but today a park with all facilities has been established.
He said that recently the Central Government had invited applications for a competition, under which the place where there is dirt first and later it is improved and made into a beautiful park. He is happy to inform that only Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park has been recommended from all over Haryana.
Many police stations and outposts will be constructed, no one had taken care for 70 years – Home Minister Anil Vij
Home Minister Anil Vij said that in the last 70 years not a single brick was laid for the police in Ambala Cantonment. The present government is working with a view to continuous improvement in the police sector. In this episode, today the foundation stone of the Housing Board outpost is included and soon the regiment outpost and Maheshnagar police station will be constructed in BC Bazar.
A new place has also been seen for Padav police station and Panjokhara police station where these police stations will be shifted. He said that the process of changing the boundaries of police station areas is also going on and if needed, new police stations can also be set up.
20 acres of land will soon be available for the airport- Vij
Home Minister Anil Vij said that due to everyone’s efforts, soon people will get an airport here at a cost of Rs 133 crore. By next week, they will get the possession of 20 acres of land near Ambala Cantonment Air Force Station. A temporary structure will be made for the airport and this work will be done at a cost of Rs 16 crore and flights will start from here soon.
Development works will be inspected every week – Vij
Home Minister Anil Vij said that the stalled development works have started again. Last day, he reviewed the construction work of Shaheed Smarak, FIFA Approved Sports Stadium, Arya Bhatt Science Center, Civil Hospital Ambala Cantonment building from 100 beds to 200 beds and told the officials that he will inspect here every week and check the work.
Home Minister Anil Vij said that in order to encourage the police, he has announced to give 30 awards every year, out of which 10 will be given by the Chief Minister and 10 by the Home Minister. Similarly, 10 awards will be given by the DGP.
Ambala Cantonment will be equipped with CCTV cameras – Vij
Home Minister Anil Vij said that CCTV cameras are also going to be installed in Ambala Cantonment soon. These HD cameras will be equipped with Artificial Intelligence and facial recognition application which will also have night vision. He said that to stop drug smuggling, Haryana Narcotics Wing has been formed which keeps a close watch on this activity.
Home Minister Anil Vij also said on this occasion that when law and order is good, it increases happiness and work.. Today, the progress of any country does not depend on whether its economy is better but rather on the happiness index.
Modern police post will be ready in a year – Dr. RC Mishra
Earlier, Dr. RC Mishra, MD of Police Housing Corporation, Haryana, while welcoming the chief guest, said that the construction of this police post will provide a lot of convenience to the people as well as the police. This modern outpost will be constructed in a year.
