PRSI Shimla Chapter and APG Shimla University organized Nation PR Day

Shimla : Public Relations Society of India, Shimla Chapter in collaboration with APG University organized National PR Day here today.Pro Chancellor APG Univesity Dr. Ramesh Chauhan presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Chauhan said that India has Presidency of G-20 from December, 2022 till November, 2023 which is a powerful global body. He said that this year India is also celebrating 75 years of Independence.
He said that all developed countries are members of G-20 whose contribution in GDP is about 85 percent.Veteran journalist Dr. Ashwani Sharma highlighted the role of knowledge sharing in maintaining Indian values for the world community.
He said that twin occasion of PR Day with G-20 conference at Dharamshala will definitely boost tourism and economy of the State. He cautioned the young journalist to work with ethics and inform the public with truth and informative news.
Dr B.S. Panwar,Director M. S. Panwar Institute of Communication and Management informed that the real agenda of G-20 with ‘One Earth, One Family and One Future’ going to achieve milestones through different activities.
He advocated for showcasing the different values for all round development of human beings throughout the world.Dr. Pramod Sharma, Professor Deptt. of Management, Himachal Pradesh University, talked about trust building for strong foundation of communication.
He said that the major task before PR professional should be to connect with the subject matter to reach at the root of the cause. He highlighted the role of Human Resource Development to build strong India in the times to come in which food, education and health plays pivotal role.
