New Delhi/Shimla : Industries Minister Bikram Singh called on Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers D.V Sadananda Gowda at New Delhi today.Bikram Singh informed the Union Minister that  Himachal Pradesh has submitted highly competitive proposals for bulk drug and medical devices parks to the department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India. He urged for  early announcement of the results for these parks as it will stabilize the API prices and also result in import substitution.He informed the Union Minister that presently state is  home to more than 700 Pharma companies and emerged as largest Pharma formulation hub in the country and added that state witnessed phenomenal industrial growth  especially in Pharma sector after GoI’s industrial package to hilly areas including Himachal Pradesh.Union Minister assured to provide all possible assistance to the state.
