HPPSC Chairman Presents 52nd Annual Report to Governor

Shimla : Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Capt. Rameshwar Singh Thakur presented the 52nd Annual Report of the Commission for the year 2022-23 to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan today in the presence of other members of the Commission, including Dr. Rachna Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Col. Rajesh Kumar Sharma and Dr. Nain Singh. Secretary of the Commission D.K. Rattan was also present on the occasion.
The Governor congratulated all the members, officers and employees of the Commission for efforts put in by them in achieving the objectives of the Commission during this period.Capt. Rameshwar Singh Thakur apprised the Governor that the commission has made better efforts in improving and making the Online Recruitment System (ORS) comprising One Time Registration (OTR) and Online Recruitment Application (ORA) more user friendly and error free with the assistance of NIC.
He said that the conduct of written examinations has been ensured only in CCTV installed institutes. He added that the system has been strengthened to expedite the recruitment process in a more transparent manner. According to the changed scenario and the demands of the aspirants, new rules of Business have been framed to make the system more transparent.
He said that the HPPSC has also been conferred with E-Governance Award in the project category- ‘State Government 20th SIG e-Governance Awards-2022’ by the Computer Society of India for the successful implementation of the HPPSC-ICT project.
