Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu extends warm birthday wishes to Shiv Pratap Shukla

Shimla : Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu extended greetings to Governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla on his birthday at Raj Bhavan today and wished for his healthy and long life. Lady Governor, Janaki Shukla was also present.

Vikramaditya Singh, Public Works Department Minister and Harish Janartha, Local MLA were also accompanied by the Chief Minister. President of India, Droupadi Murmu, Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Deputy Chief Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri, Members of the State Cabinet, Union Ministers, and other dignitaries telephonically greeted the Governor.

Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur also called on the Governor and wished him on his birthday. In his congratulatory message on his birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the efficiency and conscientiousness with which Shiv Pratap Shukla has performed his constitutional duties is going to take the state to new heights.

He expressed confidence that he would continue to serve the society, the state and the country with dedication. He has prayed to God to grant him a long and healthy life. Earlier, the Governor performed a Yajana along with other family members at Raj Bhavan in the morning and planted saplings of Parijat and other varieties of plants in the Raj Bhawan premises.
Raj Bhavan also extended greetings to the Governor in a simple ceremony organized at Raj Bhavan. The Governor said, “May he get the love of the people of the State in such a way that he always maintains the dignity of the post and can work for the development of the State.”
Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu, other senior officers and other prominent persons were also greeted Governor on the occasion.
