Delegation of visually impaired calls on Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu

Shimla : A delegation of visually impaired persons called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today and apprised him about their various demands. The Chief Minister after listening to their demands assured to fulfill sympathetically.
He said that the Government would identify suitable posts in the various government departments, boards and Corporations for their employment. The State Government is committed to the welfare of vulnerable sections of the society and a scheme would be introduced for their upliftment in the upcoming budget session.
Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ram Kumar Chaudhary, MLAs Neeraj Nayyar and Suresh Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Bharat Khera and Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister Vivek Bhatia were also present on the occasion.
