CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu sets deadline to complete IT park in Chaitaru (Kangra) by 2024

Kangra : Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today conducted a surprise visit of Rs. 17 crore IT Park, spread about two acres at Chaitaru in Kangra district. Giving necessary directions to the officers, the Chief Minister sets a deadline for the completion of IT Park by 2024. He underscored the potential for job creation for local youth through the IT Park and gave instructions to the district administration to provide all basic amenities such as roads, electricity, water etc in the complex so that the company on job does not face any inconvenience to meet out the deadline.
The Chief Minister said that approximately 100 companies have expressed interest in establishing their offices in the Park, operating on a plug-and-play basis. He highlighted ongoing efforts to position Kangra district as a thriving IT hub, thereby catalyzing overall state development. Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister (IT and Innovation) Gokul Butail, briefed the Chief Minister about the ongoing construction work of the IT Park.
