Jai Ram Thakur dedicates developmental projects of Rs. 71.16 crore for Haroli Vidhan Sabha area

Later, while addressing public meeting at Tahliwal in Una district, Chief Minister said that the World was today passing through an alarming phase of corona pandemic. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was effectively guiding the country to tackle this pandemic. He said that even the most developed countries in the world were looking towards India to fight this pandemic. He said that opposition leaders were even trying to politicise this sensitive issue, which shows their lust for power. He said that over 2.50 lakh Himachalis stranded in different parts of the country were brought back to their homes, but the Congress leaders even made a hue and cry over this issue and alleged that the Government was bringing corona to the State. He said that even the Prime Minister has appreciated the steps taken by the State Government in checking spread of this virus.
Chief Minister said that leader of opposition was always busy in making baseless allegations on the present State Government in a desperate bid to remain in news. He said that the Congress believes in mere politics and day dreaming, but the present State Government believes in making the dreams come to reality. He said that India today has emerged as strong and vibrant nation under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that abrogation of Article 370 has ensured One India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Similarly, bhoomi poojan for construction of Lord Ram Temple at Ayodhya was possible due to the strong will power of Narendra Modi, he added. Jai Ram Thakur said that the present State Government was also completing three years of its tenure on 27th December this year. He said that in these three years, the State Government has ensured that benefits of development and welfare schemes reach to the person living at the lowest ebb. He said that the State Government inherited a loan of Rs. 47,500 crore from the previous Congress Government due to their unmindful expenditure, which was a biggest bottleneck in matter of development. He said that the ‘Jan Manch’ programme of the State Government has benefitted people of the State in speedy redressal of their grievances. He said that the CM helpline 1100 was a step forward in this direction and over one lakh grievances had been redressed. But the State Government would also ensure that no false complaint was registered and action would be taken against the culprits, he added.Chief Minister said that over 2.78 lakh free gas connections have been provided to the eligible families in Himachal Pradesh under the Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojna and the State has become first smoke free State of the country. He said that in addition to this, 1.36 lakh families have been covered under the Ujjwala Yojna of the Central Government. He said that to cover the left out families of Ayushmaan Bharat, the State Government launched ‘Him Care Scheme’ which has benefitted over one lakh people of the State till date by spending about 92 crore. Jai Ram Thakur said that the Central Government has decided to setup three Bulk Drug Parks in the country and the State Government was desperately endeavouring to get one park sanctioned for the State. He said that the State Government has decided to setup this Park in Haroli area, which would ensure investment of over Rs 10,000 crore in this Park besides providing employment and self employment avenues to thousands of youths. He said that it was unfortunate that the leader of opposition was even opposing this historic initiative taken by the State Government, instead of opposing this Bulk Drug Park, the leader of opposition should welcome and support the same, he added.Chief Minister said that work on channelisation of Swan river would be expedited and Mining Check Post would be established in Una to check illegal mining.
Earlier, on his arrival at Dulehar, Chief Minister was accorded rousing welcome by the local leaders and people of the area.Later, the Chief Minister also inspected the proposed site of ‘Bulk Drug Park Project’ at Village Pollian in Haroli Vidhan Sabha area. Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar said that Chief Minister has ensured that developmental works in the State do not get affected due to paucity of funds. He said that Chief Minister also effectively guided the State during the Covid-19 pandemic and brought back about 2.50 lakh Himachalis stranded in different parts of the country. He said that whenever the BJP comes to power in the Himachal Pradesh, the State witnesses unparalleled development. He said that there were only 4 mining leases on Swan River, but during the tenure of the previous State Government, this number went upto 93, thereby promoting illegal and unscientific mining which shows the double face of the Congress leader of this area. Industries Minister Bikram Singh said that even when the Chief Minister was recovering from corona virus he held regular virtual meetings with the central leaders and State officers to get Bulk Drug Park approved for Haroli. MPP and Power Minister Sukh Ram Chaudhary said that the State was witnessing balanced and equal development of all the areas of the State. He said that the present tenure of the State Government under the able leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has been ensuring unprecedented development in all spheres.Vice Chairman State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC) Prof. Ram Kumar welcomed the Chief Minister and detailed various developmental demands of the area. He said that this was the seventh visit of the Chief Minister to Haroli Vidhan Sabha area which shows the concern of the Chief Minister towards development of the area. He said that most of the projects foundation stones and Bhumi Pujan of which was laid by the Chief Minister today were long pending demands of the people of the area. He thanked the Chief Minister for being sympathetic towards the developmental demands of the people of the area. He also accused the previous Government for giving patronage to youth involved in illegal ‘Chitta’ trade.Mandal BJP President Ravinder Jaswal also welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries present on the occasion. Chairman State Finance Commission Satpal Satti, Vice Chairman HIMUDA Parveen Sharma, MLA Rajesh Thakur, Chairman APMC Una Balbir Bagga, Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma, SP Una Arjit Sen Thakur were present on the occasion among others.
