BJP Virtual Meeting Held Today

There was effective coordination between the State Government and the party organisation which would ensure that BJP would again come to power in 2022 Assembly elections. Shimla : There was effective coordination between the State Government and the party organisation which would ensure that BJP would again come to power in 2022 Assembly elections. This was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the virtual meeting with Himachal Pradesh BJP Incharge Avinash Rai Khanna and Co-Incharge Sanjay Tandon, State BJP President Suresh Kashyap, State Organization Secretary, BJP Office bearers and BJP candidates for 2017 Assembly Elections from here today.Chief Minister said that the party would be immensely benefitted from the vast experience and political acumenship of Avinash Rai Khanna and Sanjay Tandon, who were senior BJP leaders and have deep understanding of the organisation. He said that both these leaders were well aware of the political spectrum of the State and personally know several BJP leaders of the State. He said that the main target of the Government and Party was to ensure Mission Repeat of the BJP Government in the State.Jai Ram Thakur said that the e-vistarak Yojana of the State Government would go a long way in strengthening the base of the BJP in the State. He said that the present State Government was about to complete three years in office on 27th December this year. He said that these three years have been full of achievements. He said that soon after holding the reins of the State, the Government decided to lower the age limit of availing benefit of social security pension without income limit from 80 years to 70 years, thereby benefitting lakhs of old persons of the State. He said that as many as 1.38 families of the state have benefited from the ‘Ujjwala scheme’ of the Central Government. He said that under the Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojna, more than 2.80 lakh families have been benefited and Himachal Pradesh has emerged as first State of the country with gas connection in every household. He said that Jan Manch and Chief Minister Helpline-1100 had been proving boon to the people of the State in timely redressal of their grievances nearer to their homes.Chief Minister said that the State Government has launched HIMCARE scheme under which as many as 1.11 lakh people of the State have been benefitted till date. He said that under Sahara Yojna Rs 3000 per month was being provided to the families with chronic ill patients. He said that this has provided relief to about 10 thousand families. He said that Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojna has proved a boon to the youth of the State in starting their self employment ventures.
Jai Ram Thakur said that a simple but impressive event would be held at Shimla to celebrate completion of three years tenure of the present State Government. He said that the opposition has no issue against the State Government. He said that the BJP has not only won all the four parliamentary seats, but has created a history by maintaining lead in all the 68 Vidhan Sabha areas. He said that not only this, the BJP won both the seats in the by-elections. He said that this was possible due to best coordination between the Government and party.Himachal Pradesh BJP Incharge Avinash Rai Khanna said that his main priority as the Incharge of State BJP would be to strengthen the party base in the State. He said that all the mandals should be constituted soon. He said that it was heartening to know that cent percent booths of the party has been constituted. He said that the State Government must celebrate the three years of the present State Government in a befitting manner. He said that the party and the Government must also maintain proper and constant liaison with the people of the State. He said that the MLAs must ensure their presence in all the mandal and lower level party meetings.He said that the Congress today was leaderless, issueless and directionless and party functionary must ensure that this issue reaches every person of the State. He said that the State was lucky that the National BJP President was from Himachal Pradesh and so was the Young Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs. He said that the State Government was headed by a Young and dynamic Chief Minister. Co-Incharge State BJP Sanjay Tandon said that each and every party functionary should work with greater coordination to achieve the desired results. He also felt the need for better liaison and contact with the beneficiaries of various schemes.Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur expressed hope that the State BJP would be immensely benefitted from the vast experience of the newly appointed BJP Incharge for the State.State BJP President Suresh Kashyap said that the State BJP has constituted all the committees and office bearers of its frontal organisation. He said that steps were being taken to construct offices in all the 17 organisational district and recently National BJP President has laid foundation stones of six offices in six organisational districts.General Secretary State BJP Trilok Jamwal moderated the Virtual programme.Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Organisation Secretary Pawan Rana, District BJP Presidents, Office bearers etc participated in the meeting.
