Award received to end tuberculosis presented to CM

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was presented the Certificate, Award and Memento by Chief Secretary Anil Khachi and Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi here today which Himachal Pradesh was awarded recently for achieving first rank in the country amongst the States with a population of more than 50 lakhs, to end Tuberculosis.This award was conferred recently at Delhi

Shimla : Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur was presented the Certificate, Award and Memento by Chief Secretary Anil Khachi and Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi here today which Himachal Pradesh was awarded recently for achieving first rank in the country amongst the States with a population of more than 50 lakhs, to end Tuberculosis.This award was conferred recently at Delhi by the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Ashwani Choubhey which was received by Mission Director, NHM, Himachal Pradesh Dr. Nipun Jindal and STO Dr. Gopal Beri.Chief Minister while appreciating the efforts of the officers, doctors and para medical staff of Health Department said that it was possible due to their untiring efforts and dedicated services to eradicate Tuberculosis from the State.Additional Chief Secretaries R.D. Dhiman and J.C. Sharma, Mission, NHRM Dr. Nipun Jindal and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
