Mumbai : Working in OTT has become a lucrative option and more and more of our B-Town stars are featuring in various digital projects. During the last one year we saw leading ladies from the 90s including Karisma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Manisha Koirala and Sonali Bendre take the web series plunge.The latest addition is the super selective Saadhika Randhawa.
Speaking with our team exclusively she confirmed the news and mentioned “I got offers from several OTT platforms during the last few years but nothing got me as excited as this one. I am finalizing this offer because I am getting to play the title lead of a CBI Investigator in an edge of the seat crime thriller. The rest of the cast is being finalized so I will wait till the official announcement from the production house and the OTT channel.”
We tell her that we have seen similar content in Ajay Devgan’s Rudra and Raveena Tandon’s Aranyak and the Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya girl dismisses it by saying “I haven’t seen those yet to be honest but I can tell you that the concept of this one is completely different. This one will keep the audience guessing till the end.”
Saadhika was last seen opposite actor Jackie Shroff in the biographical Om Shree Satya Sai Baba (2021). She will soon start shooting for its sequel which will be the directorial debut of singer Anup Jalota and an untitled Punjabi movie.
