RBU, NMSU sign MoU to forge strategic collaboration

Mohali : Rayat Bahra University (RBU) is thrilled to announce collaboration with New Mexico State University (NMSU), marking a significant milestone in the partnership between these institutions. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today at the premises of Rayat Bahra University. The presence of representatives from NMSU, including Seth Miner, Vice-Chancellor of Strategic Enrolment Management; Enrico Pontelli, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Ronaldo A Flores Galarza, Dean & CAO of the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences, underscores the importance of this partnership.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh, Registrar Dr Dinesh Sharma, and Head of International affairs Gurmukh Rana, among other dignitaries from RBU were present at the MoU signing ceremony. Discussions between the top functionaries of the two universities centered on potential areas of collaboration and culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize future cooperation between the two institutions.
This collaboration holds immense significance for both RBU and NMSU, signifying a pivotal step towards fostering international partnerships and enhancing academic excellence. The NMSU’s hybrid programs, combining online and on-campus learning, offer students an affordable and accessible avenue for pursuing quality education.
Under this collaboration, postgraduate and undergraduate students from B.SC, M.SC (Agriculture), B.Tech & M.Tech (CSE) and BCA,MCA of Rayat Bahra University will exclusively benefit from 2 plus 2 programs for undergraduate courses and 1 plus 1 programs for postgraduate courses. These programs will enable students to study at Rayat Bahra University and avail benefits such as credit transfer to renowned universities in the USA.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra said Rayat Bahra University looks forward to a fruitful partnership with New Mexico State University, leveraging each other’s strengths to provide enhanced educational opportunities and experiences for students.

ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਣਨੀਤਕ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਊ ਮੈਕਸੀਕੋ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ (ਐਮਓਯੂ) ’ਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਜੋ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੀਲ ਦਾ ਪੱਥਰ ਹੈ। ਨਿਊ ਮੈਕਸੀਕੋ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਠ ਮਾਈਨਰ, ਰਣਨੀਤਕ ਨਾਮਾਂਕਣ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ; ਐਨਰੀਕੋ ਪੋਂਟੇਲੀ, ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਆਰਟਸ ਐਂਡ ਸਾਇੰਸਜ਼ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ; ਅਤੇ ਰੋਨਾਲਡੋ ਏ ਫਲੋਰਸ ਗਲਾਰਜ਼ਾ, ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਐਗਰੀਕਲਚਰਲ, ਕੰਜ਼ਿਊਮਰ ਐਂਡ ਐਨਵਾਇਰਨਮੈਂਟਲ ਸਾਇੰਸਜ਼ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਏਓ, ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੇਖਾਂਕਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਐਮਓਯੂ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ, ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਡਾ: ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਮੁੱਖ ਰਾਣਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਆਰਬੀਯੂ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੋ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਭਵਿੱਖੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਰਸਮੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਪੱਤਰ (ਐਮਓਯੂ) ’ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਇਹ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਊ ਮੈਕਸੀਕੋ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਭਾਈਵਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਿਊ ਮੈਕਸੀਕੋ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਹਾਈਬ੍ਰਿਡ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ, ਔਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਨ-ਕੈਂਪਸ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਕਿਫਾਇਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਯੋਗ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ, ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਬੀਐਸਸੀ, ਐਮਐਸਸੀ (ਐਗਰੀਕਲਚਰ), ਅਤੇ ਬੀ. ਟੈਕ.ਐਮ ਟੈਕ (ਸੀਐਸਈ) ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ., ਐਮਸੀਏ ਦੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਡਰ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਡਰਗਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਲਈ 2 ਪਲੱਸ 2 ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਲਈ 1 ਪਲੱਸ 1 ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰੈਡਿਟ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਫਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਲਾਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਗੁਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨਿਊ ਮੈਕਸੀਕੋ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਫਲਦਾਇਕ ਭਾਈਵਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
