NSS camp gets underway at RBU

Mohali : The National Service Scheme (NSS) camp was inaugurated at the Rayat Bahra University by Dr Parveen Goyal, NSS Director of Panjab University, Chandigarh, who is also a member of the PU Senate and Syndicate. He told NSS volunteers that community service was the biggest service to the nation. He also counselled volunteers to help needy persons.
Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of RBU, spoke about NSS activities of Rayat Bahra University and appreciated NSS volunteers for their achievements. Prof AS Chahal, Chief Coordinator of NSS unit of Rayat Bahra University, explained in detail the seven-day activities of the camp. A total of 150 volunteers are attending this camp. Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra extended his warm wishes to NSS volunteers. Deans and Heads of different departments were present on the occasion.
