Alumni from around the world gathered at LPU for a memorable reunion

Jalandhar : Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized a grand alumni meet, ‘Home Coming-2023’, which witnessed the gathering of students from different countries and states. The alumni meet aimed to bring together the alumni of LPU who are working in various corporates, government organizations, or running successful businesses.
The event provided a great opportunity for the alumni to relive the time spent at LPU and reconnect with their fellow batchmates. Over 1500 LPU alumni from across the globe, including the USA, Canada, England, Australia, Dubai, Italy, and India, gathered on campus for a two-day annual meet.
The event was a grand celebration, with the campus buzzing with excitement and the radiant energy of proud alumni. The unforgettable alumni homecoming event served as a time machine, transporting graduates from different batches back to their cherished memories of their time at LPU.
The sprawling campus of Lovely Professional University also welcomed the families and loved ones of alumni, all eager to reconnect with their alma mater. In the halls of their respective schools, the alumni engaged in lively panel discussions, sharing their unique perspectives and insights.
The lively discussions were punctuated by moments of laughter and joy as the alumni reminisced about their time at LPU. The Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium at the university hosted a grand afternoon activity for the alumni.
The event included meetings with the university’s dignitaries and renowned comedian Rajat Chauhan made everyone laugh out loud. Distinguished Alumnus Awards were presented to the alumni in various categories, making the event even more memorable.
About this event, LPU Chancellor Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal said that ‘this event is not just an opportunity to catch up with old friends, but also get a chance to connect with a community that shares a common experience and a common bond.
He also congratulated all alumni as QS World University Rankings has ranked LPU by subject 2023 places among the top 300 Universities in the world and 9th in India’.
