Tribute to Father of Pharmacy Education Dr. M. L. Schroff

Bela : On the solemn occasion of the death anniversary of Dr. M. L. Shroff, the Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial (Autonomous) College of Pharmacy paid a heartfelt tribute to the Father of Pharmacy Education in India. The event was marked to honor his legacy and contributions to the field of pharmacy.
Flowers were placed in front of the photograph of Dr. M. L. Shroff, symbolizing the respect and admiration the college holds for his pioneering work. Dr. Shailesh Sharma, the director of the college, took the opportunity to share insights into the remarkable life and invaluable contributions made by Dr. M. L. Shroff.
It was highlighted that he played a pivotal role in establishing pharmacy education in India, setting the foundation for the growth and development of the pharmaceutical industry in the country. To further enrich the understanding of pharmacy’s scope and potential in India, an online seminar was organized for the B. Pharmacy students.
This seminar aimed to provide students with insights into the diverse opportunities that the field of pharmacy offers within the nation. It emphasized the importance of pharmacy in healthcare and its role in shaping the medical landscape.
The event was successfully organized by Ms. Ramandeep Kaur and Mr. Devinder Kumar. Their efforts were acknowledged as they expressed their gratitude to all the students who actively participated in the program.
