DDC Rajouri reviews implementation of Mission Youth schemes
793 TEJASWINI cases recommended to Banks for funding

Rajouri: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of schemes related to Mission Youth particularly Mumkin and Tejaswani.CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ARTO, Shami Kumar; AD Employment, Rekha Rani and Employment Officer, Mohd Aslam Beig attended the meeting.It was informed that as many as 200 applications seeking benefits under MUMKIN have been approved by the District Level Implementation of Committee, of which 89 beneficiaries were provided different kinds of commercial vehicles and remaining cases are being processed.
Regarding the Tejaswani scheme, the meeting was informed that 793 cases have been forwarded to the banks for sanction to date.Speaking at the meeting, the DDC exhorted the concerned officers to spread mass awareness about these welfare initiatives to benefit maximum youth of the district.He also said that the self-employment schemes launched under the Mission Youth and those already existing have the capacity and potential to channelize the energy of the youth in a positive direction.
