Punjab Government committed to welfare of all sections: Kultar Singh Sandhwan

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Friday reiterated the Punjab Government’s commitment to making ‘Rangla Punjab’ by ensuring the welfare of people across all sections of society. Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, Chairman District Planning Committee Amritpal Singh, Chairman Jalandhar Improvement Trust Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, and Chairman Punjab Agri Export Corporation Limited Mangal Singh Bassi, the Speaker inaugurated a dental clinic in Model Town locality.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sandhwan highlighted that a large number of new industries were setting up their businesses in Punjab due to the government’s consistent efforts. He stated that the Punjab Government has undertaken several key initiatives, particularly business-friendly measures to create a conducive environment for industry growth, which are strengthening the state’s economic landscape.

The Speaker added that the Yudh Nashian Virudh campaign has proved to be a game-changer in curbing the drug menace in the state, while the health and education sectors have witnessed major overhauls under the present government. He termed these initiatives as catalysts to further enhance Punjab’s progress while ensuring inclusive growth for the welfare of its people.
