Bandipora admin receives first batch of Shri Amarnathji pilgrims at Shadipora Transit Camp

In a gesture of hospitality, the first batch of Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY) pilgrims was warmly received by a team of Bandipora district administration led by Deputy Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, as they reached Shadipora Transit Camp in Bandipora on Wednesday.
The DC was accompanied by SSP Bandipora Harmeet Singh Mehta besides other civil and police officials. On the occasion, the DC extended a warm welcome to the pilgrims by presenting garlands as a gesture of respect and goodwill.
The pilgrims were also served refreshment, reflecting a hospitable and comfortable experience for the devotees. As the first batch of yatries embarked on their spiritual journey towards the Holy Cave, the DC wished them a fulfilling and blessed pilgrimage
The DC informed that the district administration has put in place all arrangements in advance for a hassle-free yatra. He stated that the administration has implemented comprehensive plans to facilitate smooth and hassle-free experiences for all the pilgrims.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various facilities including accommodation, bedding, water supply, electricity, langars and other essentials at Shadipora Yatra Transit Camp.
