Driving Progress through Innovation’ Inaugural Ceremony as Guest of Honour

Prof Rajeev Ahuja joined the inaugural ceremony of “Tec-Verse 2025: Driving Progress through Innovation” as its guest of honour along with Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY and Shri Amitesh Kumar Sinha, Additional Secretary, MeitY.

The conclave was organised by MeitY’s premier R&D institutions — C-DAC, SAMEER, and C-MET at Manekshaw Centre, Delhi. This first-of-its-kind technology conclave showcased cutting-edge innovations and transformative R&D in:

● HPC, Quantum, AI, and 5G/6G

● Semiconductor Materials, Cybersecurity, and Power Electronics

● Medical Devices, Health Tech, and IoT

● E-Waste, RoHS, Circular Economy

In the presence of various thought leaders from government, academia, and industry, IIT Ropar signed an MoU with Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET) to focus on joint R&D efforts in advanced E-Waste recycling processes and to initiate a postgraduate program in E-Waste Management.

IIT Ropar affirmed its commitment to drive the future of India’s digital and electronic ecosystem through research, innovation, and partnerships.
