History will be created in Haryana on International Yoga Day: Nayab Singh Saini

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the Haryana Government has made full preparations to make the 11th International Yoga Day historic. A mass event is going to be organized with unprecedented enthusiasm and public participation across the state and more than 20 lakh people will do Yoga together.
The ancient method of Yoga given by sages and saints will act as the foundation stone in fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making India a ‘Viksit Bharat’ in the year 2047. The day is not far when India will again become the world leader and yoga will play an important role in it.
Therefore, to spread yoga to every corner of the world, International Yoga Day was started and today most of the countries of the world have adopted yoga and recognized International Yoga Day. The Chief Minister was talking to journalists after inspecting the programme sites at Brahma Sarovar on the eve of International Yoga Day.
Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, Additional Chief Secretary Sudhir Rajpal, Director General of Sports Department and Ambala Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Verma, former Minister of State Subhash Sudha, and Acharya Balkrishna were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that the state-level function organized in Kurukshetra is going to be historic, where a new record is likely to be set with the participation of more than one lakh people.
Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev will specially conduct yoga in the function. The Brahma Sarovar complex has been divided into 64 sectors and the fair ground into 37 sectors. 1,000 participants will do yoga in each sector.
To connect all the participants with the yoga programme, 31 LED screens have been installed, out of which 20 have been installed in the Brahma Sarovar complex and 11 in the fair ground. During this state-level function, the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be heard through live broadcast.
Many efforts have been made by the Haryana Yog Aayog and the AYUSH Department to give the International Yoga Day the form of a mass movement. A portal has been created for this, on which citizens have registered themselves to participate in yoga programmrs. More than 20 lakh people have given proof of public participation by registering, who are doing yoga in the programmes organized at different places across the state today.
The preparations for Yoga Day from villages to cities of the state have presented a new example of social awareness. Schools, colleges, panchayats, voluntary organizations and youth clubs have participated in it with full dedication. The Chief Minister said that International Yoga Day is a day of pride and glory for us.
Doing yoga under the guidance of Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev will make this day more special. When every person joins yoga, all diseases go away. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the theme of International Yoga Day is One Earth One Health, which we have implemented in the state by adding the slogan ‘Yoga Yukt Nasha Mukt’ Haryana.
Following this theme, all citizens should save themselves from drug addiction. Also, the youth of the state have to be saved from drug addiction. Drug addiction is a bad practice, which hinders the development of any nation. The Chief Minister said yoga is not just an exercise, it is a lifestyle.
It has an important contribution in making Haryana healthy, aware and disciplined, so we all must adopt yoga in our lives and make it a part of our daily routine. He appealed to the general public to contribute in making the state-level programme of International Yoga Day historic by reaching Kurukshetra, the land of Shri Krishna who gave the message of karma and yoga to all mankind, and doing yoga.
Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev said that both Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Yoga are our pride. The Chief Minister himself is a Yogi, healthy, self-respecting, helpful to all and important for Haryana. Being always happy is the identity of a Yogi, and this happiness is always visible on the face of the Chief Minister.
Due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yoga Day programme will be celebrated all over the world on June 21. On this day, the whole world will be told about the knowledge of Yoga, devotion, power and spirituality from the holy land of Kurukshetra.
