Defence Accounts Office Chandigarh Hosts Blood Donation Camp on World Blood Donor Day 2025

To mark the occasion of World Blood Donor Day 2025, the office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Army), Chandigarh successfully organized a voluntary blood donation camp on 16th June 2025 within the office premises.

A dedicated team of medical professionals from the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh was invited to conduct the camp. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the officers and staff of the office, who came forward voluntarily to donate blood.

Prior to donation, necessary medical check-ups were conducted by the doctors to ensure the safety and well-being of the donors. Following these examinations, employees voluntarily donated blood with great zeal.A total of 50 units of blood were collected during the camp. The initiative reflected the commitment of the organization towards social responsibility and contributed meaningfully to the cause of saving lives.
