Opposition is Engaged only in Politics of Protest : Nayab Singh Saini

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, taking a jibe at the Congress, said that the opposition’s sole objective has become opposing for the sake of opposition. Congress leaders are making baseless allegations regarding development schemes, while the truth is that even opposition leaders themselves are benefiting from these schemes, they just avoid mentioning it.
A prime example is NH-152D, which is being praised by every citizen of Haryana, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.The Chief Minister was addressing a press conference in Panchkula on Tuesday on the successful completion of 11 glorious years of the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.
On this occasion, Cabinet Ministers, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda, Sh. Vipul Goel, Dr. Arvind Sharma, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi, Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Rekha Sharma, BJP State President, Sh. Mohan Lal Kaushik, former minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal, and Media Advisor to the Chief Minister, Sh. Praveen Atreya was also present.
The Chief Minister said that the Opposition should inform the public truthfully about what the government is doing. However, they are opposing even public welfare measures like road construction, free LPG cylinders, increased Minimum Support Prices (MSP), and compensation to farmers.
He added that may Congress get the wisdom to understand the historic changes of the past 11 years under Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Haryana Leading in Women Empowerment
The Chief Minister said that while the Central Government has ensured 33 percent reservation for women in Parliament and State Assemblies, the Haryana Government has gone a step further by providing 50 percent representation to women in panchayats and urban local bodies, giving a new dimension to women empowerment.
As a result, Haryana has emerged as a leader in women’s leadership nationwide, he said. Responding to a question about Smart Cities, the Chief Minister said that different parameters are set by the institution. He has directed officers to prepare a comprehensive plan, promote a spirit of competition, and elevate the city’s standing to the national rankings.
On the issue of the Common Eligibility Test (CET), the Chief Minister said that the recruitment process is actively ongoing and the CET is a major event, the date for which will be announced soon. It will be conducted transparently in the best interest of the youth.
State-Level International Yoga Day Celebration in Kurukshetra on June 21
The Chief Minister informed that the 11th International Yoga Day celebration in Haryana began on May 27 and will continue for 25 days across the state. Various awareness activities like yoga sessions, slogan writing, painting competitions, and marathons are being held.
The main state-level event will take place in Kurukshetra on June 21, in which yoga guru Baba Ramdev will also participate. This year’s Yoga Day theme is “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, and the Haryana Government has added the slogan “Yoga Yukt, Nasha Mukt Haryana”.
