Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Halts Convoy to Play Cricket with Local Youth

Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini, during his visit to Gurugram today, set a heartwarming example of spontaneous public interaction by halting his convoy to play cricket with local youth. The moment unfolded as the Chief Minister was en route to the PWD Rest House after attending a program on the theme ‘One Nation, One Election’ held at the Laser Valley parking area.
As he passed through Rajiv Chowk, the Chief Minister noticed a group of youngsters playing cricket in an open field and expressed interest in their game. Responding to their request, he stepped onto the field, picked up a bat, and joined the game.
He was accompanied by Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam, and State BJP President Mohan Lal Kaushik, who also took part in the cricket.The moment stood as a vivid demonstration of the Chief Minister’s approachability and emotional connection with the public.
The youth praised his spontaneity and humility, calling it an unforgettable experience. Such gestures, they said, reinforce the spirit of people-centric leadership and active public engagement. The Chief Minister also took selfies with the youth, adding to the excitement and joy of the occasion.
