Bandaru Dattatraya calls on President of India Droupadi Murmu

Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya made a courtesy call on Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday evening. During the meeting, Shri Dattatraya presented a copy of his recently launched autobiography, Janata Ki Kahani Meri Aatmakatha, to the Hon’ble President.
“It was a moment of immense delight and honour as the Hon’ble President graciously perused the pages of the book and shared her valuable insights on the topics covered in the autobiography, which chronicles my public life and service to the nation,” said Governor Shri Dattatraya.
In the course of their conversation, Hon’ble President Smt Droupadi Murmu inquired about the ongoing development works in Haryana, with particular interest in the implementation of the National Education Policy. Governor Shri Dattatraya briefed her on the fast-paced development being undertaken across key sectors in the state, including health, education, sports, and women empowerment.
The Governor also apprised the Hon’ble President about the effective implementation of reservation policies for Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes in Haryana. The Hon’ble President expressed happiness on learning about the remarkable achievements of girls in Haryana, especially in the field of sports, and lauded their growing contribution to the state’s progress.
The Hon’ble President appreciated Governor Shri Dattatraya’s commitment to public service and lauded the multi-faceted approach adopted by the state in promoting social welfare and strengthening the democratic framework.
