Chief Secretary T.V.S.N Prasad reviewed cleanliness efforts in Gurugram

Gurugram : Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. T.V.S.N Prasad stated that Gurugram is a modern city. Therefore, it is essential to broaden our thinking to utilise the available resources of the corporation efficiently. Everyone must work together under a strategy focusing on each ward with small steps to move forward.
The Chief Secretary chaired a review meeting of the ‘Swachhata Abhiyan’ at the Municipal Corporation office in Gurugram on Sunday. The Chief Secretary praised the efforts of all nodal officers involved in the ‘Swachhata Abhiyan’, emphasising that resolving public issues is their top priority.
He said that the experiment done in Gurugram city will now be expanded and implemented in other cities of the state as well. Earlier, citizen feedback was different, but this time, citizens have given positive feedback on cleanliness efforts, for which the team deserves congratulations, added the Chief Secretary.
In the meeting, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar, detailed the initiatives taken by the Municipal Corporation and new proposals for garbage disposal through PPT. He stated that 5 locations have been identified for C&D waste disposal, and this information has been made public through newspapers. Similarly,14 sanitation experts have been appointed, and a sufficient number of tractor trolleys have been arranged under open market rates at secondary points.
He also shared that GIS mapping of garbage collection points in the city has been done under the campaign. He also provided information about the complaints received in the control room between June 14 and July 6, stating that 1,754 complaints related to cleanliness, horticulture waste, and C&D waste were received, out of which 1,352 have been resolved, and 382 are in the process of resolution.
CEO, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Sh. A. Sreenivas, Commissioner, Gurugram Division, Sh. R.C Bidhan, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav, and HCS officers in charge of wards under the SWEEP programme remained present during the meeting.

हरियाणा के मुख्य सचिव श्री टीवीएसएन प्रसाद ने कहा कि गुरुग्राम हरियाणा का एक मॉर्डन शहर है, ऐसे में हमें शहर के विस्तार के साथ-साथ हमारी सोच का दायरा बढ़ाकर निगम के पास उपलब्ध संसाधनों का अधिकतम और कुशलतम प्रयोग करने की जरूरत है। इसके लिए सभी को मिलकर एक रणनीति के तहत प्रत्येक वार्ड पर फोकस करते हुए स्मॉल स्टेप के साथ आगे बढ़ना होगा। मुख्य सचिव रविवार को गुरुग्राम में नगर निगम कार्यालय में स्वच्छता अभियान की समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे।
मुख्य सचिव ने समीक्षा बैठक में स्वच्छता अभियान में नियुक्त सभी नोडल अधिकारियों के प्रयासों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि जनसमस्याओं का निवारण करना हमारी पहली प्राथमिकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि गुरुग्राम शहर में हुए प्रयोग को विस्तार देकर अब प्रदेश के अन्य शहरों में भी लागू किया जाएगा। जब वह पहले आए तो उस समय नागरिकों का अलग फीडबैक था लेकिन इस बार नागरिकों ने स्वच्छता संबंधी कार्यों को लेकर अच्छी प्रतिक्रिया दी है। जिसके लिए यहां की टीम बधाई की पात्र है।
बैठक में निगमायुक्त डॉ. नरहरि सिंह बांगड़ ने पीपीटी के माध्यम से नगर निगम द्वारा की जा रही पहल व कूड़ा निस्तारण के लिए नए प्रस्ताव की विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि शहर में सीएंडडी वेस्ट के निस्तारण के लिए 5 स्थानों को चिन्हित कर इसकी सूचना समाचार पत्रों के माध्यम से सार्वजनिक की गई है। इसी प्रकार, 14 सैनिटेशन एक्सपर्ट भी नियुक्त किए गए हैं। वही, सेकेंडरी प्वाइंटों पर ओपन मार्केट रेट के तहत पर्याप्त संख्या में ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली की व्यवस्था की गई है।
उन्होंने बताया कि अभियान के तहत शहर में गार्बेज कलेक्शन प्वाइंट की जीआईएस मैपिंग की गई है। निगमायुक्त ने 14 जून से 6 जुलाई के बीच कंट्रोल रूम में आई शिकायतों के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि नियंत्रण कक्ष में इस अवधि में सफाई, हॉर्टिकल्चर वेस्ट व सीएंडडी वेस्ट से जुड़ी 1754 शिकायतें प्राप्त हुई थी, जिसमें से 1352 का निवारण किया गया है व 382 समाधान की प्रक्रिया में है।
बैठक में गुरुग्राम महानगर विकास प्राधिकरण के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी श्री ए. श्रीनिवास, गुरुग्राम मंडल के आयुक्त श्री आरसी बिढ़ान, उपायुक्त श्री निशांत कुमार यादव व निगमायुक्त डा. नरहरि सिंह बांगड़ सहित सहित स्वीप के तहत वार्डों के प्रभारी एचसीएस अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
