India developing rapidly under PM Modi’s leadership: Nayab Singh

Chandigarh : Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh stated that under Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s leadership, India’s name has shone brightly on the global stage over the past 10 years, and the country is rapidly developing. He noted that despite 60 years of continuous rule by one party after independence, the country did not develop as swiftly as it should have.
The Chief Minister was today addressing representatives of the Kamboj community, led by Baba Brahm Dass of Dera Baba Bhuman Shah Sirsa, at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir. The representatives invited him to attend the ‘Balidan Diwas’ of Shaheed Udham Singh on July 31 at Dera Baba Bhuman Shah Sirsa, which the Chief Minister gladly accepted.
Sh. Nayab Singh said it is an honour for him to participate in the ‘Balidan Diwas’ of someone who dedicated his entire life to the country. He emphasised that the youth should take inspiration from Shaheed Udham Singh’s life and work for the welfare of society.

Nayab Singh stated that the previous governments did not change British-era laws even after 75 years of independence. He praised the present government and said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi the central government has changed the British era laws, which became effective on July 1, 2024.
Similarly, the CAA law was also brought which works to give Indian citizenship to minority people of Indian origin in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. But the opposition also worked to mislead the public regarding this law, added the Chief Minister.
Opposition only engages in politics of lies
The Chief Minister said that the opposition has nothing substantial to say and is engaging only in politics of lies. The opposition misled the public during elections by falsely claiming that PM Modi would abolish the Constitution and reservations if elected for a third term. Whereas for the last 10 years, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has run this country in accordance with the Constitution only.
He pointed out that the previous government tampered with the Constitution by adding Article 370, against the wishes of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He criticised opposition leaders for disrespecting constitutional benches like the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the Lok Sabha, questioning their commitment to democracy, dignity, and the Constitution.
Former Minister Sh.Karan Dev Kamboj thanked Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh for accepting the invitation to the July 31 event and said that the community that remembers its martyrs, remains alive forever.He praised the Haryana government under Sh. Nayab Singh’s leadership for officially celebrating the anniversaries and martyrdom days of great leaders, noting that no previous government had taken such initiatives.
He appealed everyone to plant a tree in the memory of Shaheed Udham Singh on July 31.Political Advisor to Chief Minister, Sh. Bharat Bhushan Bharti, Sh. Mahesh Muni of Bada Akhara Kurukshetra, and a large number of prominent Kamboj community members from Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab also remained present.

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में पिछले 10 वर्षों में भारत का नाम विश्व में रौशन हुआ है और आज देश तीव्र गति से विकास कर रहा है। जबकि आजादी के 60 वर्षों के बाद तक भी एक ही पार्टी का शासन रहने के बावजूद भी जिस गति से विकास होना चाहिए था उस गति से विकास नहीं हुआ।
मुख्यमंत्री आज उनके निवास स्थान संत कबीर कुटीर पर डेरा बाबा बुमन शाह सिरसा के बाबा ब्रह्म दास की अगुवाई में आए कांबोज समाज के प्रतिनिधियों को संबोधित कर रहे थे। इस मौके पर कांबोज समाज के प्रतिनिधियों ने 31 जुलाई को डेरा बाबा बुमन शाह सिरसा में मनाए जाने वाले शहीद उद्यम सिंह के बलिदान दिवस पर आने का निमंत्रण दिया, जिसे मुख्यमंत्री ने सहर्ष स्वीकार कर लिया।
नायब सिंह ने कहा कि जिस व्यक्ति ने अपना पूरा जीवन मां भारती को समर्पित किया उस व्यक्ति के बलिदान दिवस पर शामिल होना उनके लिए सौभाग्य की बात है। सरदार उद्यम सिंह के जीवन से युवा पीढ़ी को प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए और समाज हित में कार्य करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि 19 अप्रैल 1919 को जलियांवाला बाग में हुए हत्याकांड का बदला लेने का संकल्प बहादुर बालक सरदार उद्यम सिंह ने लिया और उन्होंने लंदन में जनरल डायर को गोली मारकर अपने इस संकल्प को पूरा किया।

नायब सिंह ने कहा कि देश को आजाद हुए 75 वर्ष हो गए और आज तक भी हम अंग्रेजों के बनाए हुए कानूनों का बोझ ढो रहे थे, पिछली सरकारों ने कानून बदलने पर कभी ध्यान ही नहीं दिया। आज प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केंद्र सरकार ने अंग्रेजों के जमाने के चले आ रहे कानूनों को बदलने का काम किया है और 1 जुलाई, 2024 से नए कानून लागू भी हो गए हैं।
इसी प्रकार, सीएए का कानून भी लाया गया जो पाकिस्तान, अफगानिस्तान और बांग्लादेश में भारतीय मूल के अल्पसंख्यक लोगों को भारत की नागरिकता देने का काम करता है। परंतु विपक्ष ने इस कानून को लेकर भी जनता को गुमराह करने का काम किया।
विपक्ष के पास बोलने के लिए कुछ नहीं, केवल झूठ की राजनीति कर रहे हैं
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि विपक्ष के पास बोलने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं, है, वे केवल झूठ की राजनीति कर रहे हैं। विपक्ष ने चुनाव में भी झूठ बोलकर जनता को बरगलाने का काम किया कि अगर श्री नरेंद्र मोदी तीसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री बन गए तो वे संविधान और आरक्षण को खत्म कर देंगे। जबकि पिछले 10 वर्षों से प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस देश को संविधान के अनुरूप ही चलाया है।
उन्होंने विपक्ष पर निशाना साधते हुए कहाकि संविधान की मूलभावना के साथ सबसे पहले छेड़छाड़ पिछली सरकार ने ही की थी, जब संविधान में धारा 370 को जोड़ा गया। उस समय संविधान निर्माता डॉ भीमराव अंबेडकर ने इस धारा 370 को संविधान में जोड़ने का विरोध किया था। उन्होंने कहा कि आज भी विपक्ष के नेता विभिन्न मौकों पर संवैधानिक पीठों, राष्ट्रपति, उपराष्ट्रपति, प्रधानमंत्री, लोकसभा अध्यक्ष का अपमान करते हैं, तो उनसे पूछना चाहिए कि उस समय लोकतंत्र कहां है, सदन की मर्यादा कहां है और संविधान कहां है।

इस अवसर पर पूर्व मंत्री श्री कर्ण देव कांबोज ने 31 जुलाई को होने वाले कार्यक्रम का निमंत्रण स्वीकार करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह का आभार व्यक्त किया उन्होंने कहा कि जो कौम अपने शहीदों को याद करती है, वो हमेशा जिंदा रहती है। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री के नेतृत्व वाली हरियाणा सरकार की सराहना की, जिसने महापुरुषों की जयंतियों और उनके बलिदान दिवसों को सरकारी तौर पर मनाने की एक अनूठी पहल की है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पहले किसी भी सरकार ने इस प्रकार की कोई पहल नहीं की थी। उन्होंने उपस्थित लोगों से अपील करते हुए कहा कि एक पेड़ अपनी मां के नाम अवश्य लगाएं और 31 जुलाई को होने वाले कार्यक्रम में भी है एक पेड़ शहीद उद्यम सिंह की याद में लगाने का संकल्प लें। इस मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री के राजनीतिक सलाहकार श्री भारत भूषण भारती, बड़ा अखाड़ा कुरूक्षेत्र के महेश मुनि और हरियाणा, राजस्थान व पंजाब से बड़ी संख्या में कांबोज समाज के प्रबुद्ध व्यक्ति उपस्थित थे।
