DC Udhampur Saloni Rai reviews functioning of Revenue Department in Udhampur

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, to review and streamline the functioning of the Revenue Department.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, along with Tehsildars & SDMs of Chenani, Dudu, Basantgarh, Panchari, and Moungri attended the meeting through virtual mode.
The discussions covered various issues, including digitization of Records, Quality check of updated Jamabandies and digitized Mussavies, Freezing of Digitalized Jamabandies, information regarding Illegal Colonies, Verification of Digitalized Jamabandies by Senior officers, Digitalization & Geo-referencing of Recreated Mussavies, implementation of the Public Service Guarantee Act, Status on Encroachment of State Land, redressal of complaints, grievances, and building permissions.
The DC directed officers to adhere to rules and laws, delivering services within stipulated time as prescribed in PSGA. Emphasis was placed on expediting the Recreation of Digitalized Jamabandies and Anti-Encroachment Drive, resolving small grievances on a priority basis.
The DC urged officers and field functionaries to work collaboratively for better results and quality public service delivery, encouraging regular field touring and submission of tour diaries. SDMs and Tehsildars were instructed to ensure the disposal of all pending court cases.
